28/10/2007 Nobuo uematsu's concert in Florence!!!

That looks like it was really cool, I can't wait to check out some video from it.

 

GREAT INCREDIBLE NEWS!!!!!!

So first of all webpage is up and you can download a trailer of the concert both in standard definition and in High definition!

But before giving you guys the link i'll give some extra infos.

1) The lack of news so far is due to the happening of the most important italian convention of comics, cartoon and videogames in lucca. At this conference was present UEMATSU himself. My friend had the chance to have a chat with the concert's organizators and gifted 2 DVDs with the concert trailer's in it to the master and the organizers.

2) Later that day the video (the one you can see the trailerof) was shown at an interview with press and public in Lucca, just yesterday! The organizators said that our video was far better then their one and in exchange for that are OFFERING US THE AUDIO MASTERS FROM THE CONCERT! Ihope that everything will go smoothly so that we'll have a great concert with great audio recordings! Also the people that were present at the conference stated that Uematsu himself was surprised and pleased to have such a nice trailer made in such short time.

i think there's some errors in videos and such because my friend mounted the trailer in something like 3 hours before leaving from his home to reach this comic convention and at the 4th in the morning... he said that he mistaped at the end of the video 2 words... but i guess that you guys can forgive him, right? I think that he'll start working hard on the video at full strenghts since next monday, difficul to say how long it'll take and if we'll get the original masters things might get slower..

anyway i'll keep you all guys informed about any news i get. But i promised it won't be a matter of months before getting the vids!

PPS: the trailer's quality is NOWHERE near to what the polished video will be. the montage was fast (just 3 hours as i said) and no audio or video filters were applied.

 

Just let me know if you want me to mirror it. I dont want to overstep you or anything, but Ive got a ton of space waiting to be used

by the way my friend had a personal audition with nobuo and his manager! He got his compliments for the video and wants to get a copy when it's done! So my lucky friend had a great chance to talk and take pics and autographs. he promised nobuo that he'll bring the full concert vid on his next concert on stockholm. so everything will be done fast i guess.

only just one concern... i hope SE won't make a step to stopping distribution of the videos....

 

Looked great btw (and sounded great of course). Cant wait to see more. Conductor was sweating quite a bit haha. Not a big fan of his conducting style, but still awesome

 

That is really cool. Hopefully it will be ok letting us get the video also. I have not checked out the trailer yet but I will as soon as I get home from work.

The video looks great and I can't wait to see the rest of it. I was expecitng a super shakey camera with bad audio but that is much more of a professional style.

just a short update:

all the video editing it's done save for some refinements like dissolvings, song's names and the dvds extras. soon evrything will be done, but we are waiting for a word from square. if disributing will be ok for them we'll get the original audio masters and probably have an _OFFICIAL_ release... else...

sorry for the lack of updates! things were still because we were waiting for words from SE about official distribution... obviously they said NO. anyway soon everything will be shared on emule and all people's help will be important.
my friend stated that 3 things will be shared:

° Concert 720x version
° Mp3 Pack
