That's pretty epic. GC or Wii? I remember paying nearly £20 for Pikmin 2 years after it was released second hand.
GCN. It was labled $9 but all the other games were $2. I asked the lady at the counter if that was correct and she changed the price for me. When i go Hunting for games, i go HUNTING!
Practically free (with some games I bought). Swapmeet. http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29926
I used to get some wicked deals from 2nd hand shops in the UK. The best I can think of were, MUSHA Aleste for MD free cos I was a good guy Nippon Safes Inc for £1, Monkey Island Bounty Pack for £1.50, a brand new stussy long sleeve t-shirt for £1, and a bunch of White label Lemans 24hr Dreamcast discs free cos the guy was sent them from Sega by accident and didnt know what they were! Not so good for bounty here in Calgary, but to be honest, I've not really been on the hunt. I was given an N64 with 2 controllers and Starfox 64 the other day and my buddy at work has a PS3 with disc read errors that he says I can have
Nothing game related but I got a Fender Jaguar for 385$ at a pawnshop a few years ago,its worth around 800 to 900$
snes model 2 with 20 games one controller - $30 jvc x'eye with sonic 1 &2 two controllers - $10 xbox 1 with one controller - $10
I just got 2 PS1s (one original SCPH-1002, one SCPH-102 slim) and three official controllers, 5 unofficial ones, and four official memory cards for £4.

I was in a used book store today with the girlfriend. While browsing through the used "books on CD" bins, I came across sealed copies of the Dreamcast Web Browser and some of the Visual Concepts sports games (ie: NFL 2k, NBA 2k1, etc). I chuckled a bit and moved on.
i got a dreamcast for $7, code veronica complete $2, NES $15, n64 $15 the dreamcast was a deal but it was in spanish cause i live in a city that most people speak spanish
The thrift stores in my city are usually more oriented towards clothes and books and less towards the electronics spectrum. Going out of town to almighty Vallejo, CA one can find electronics galore. Last time I went out I saw a Dreamcast controller for $4 and was it for notability. Trip before I saw a PS1, SNES sans cables and a few Dreamcast accesories. Most of the time this stuff isn't listed in a price to beat eBay so I typically don't bother unless I really want/need something. Though I did get the original Sims and 3 expansions for $5.
