Engadget have unboxing pictures. You can see how the top grille opens up to reveal the HDD (which is still proprietary), the front hatch opens up for USBs and all the rear connectors. Interestingly, there's an 'Aux' port, which is specifically for Kinect power and data. On original 360s, Kinect will plug into a junction box that will connect via USB and requires another PSU. I reckon there'll be a cheaper 120GB unit to replace the current Arcade Xbox. Maybe in glossy white? Has anyone found any dimensions of the new console, or can anyone be arsed to work it out in relation to the size of the rear ports?
What I found amusing after the show they announced everyone in the room would get one and the developers working with them. Apparently Hideo Kojima just took off and didn't bother with his. I suspect its some limited edition one?

Agreed there I thought the exact same. I gues it's because Rising isn't really his main project which I'm guessing it's something he was 'forced' in to do. Hideo still has one more game left to show. Fingers crossed it's either ZOE3 or new Snatcher/policenauts

I don't think it is over his English. He just felt happy as soon as he could pass the whole thing on to the producer. It's like last year with announcing rising he felt force there yet at Sony's he was more then happy to talk about peace walker. Anyways I doubt it and I know people will hate me but crossing my fingers for a ZoE 3 (on PSP using Peace Walker's Engine). Sure I'll take a PS3 game no problem too. Just Peace Walker is ****ing amazing and we got the game 1 year after it's announcement. Not 3 years later. :thumbsup:

Video games were so much more interesting ten years ago. I think there's an increasingly grey feeling, like somehow they're out to mesmerize us with shit we don't care about.
It seems like it is going to happen today. As well it seems that because of the + service, free psn users will be getting something as well. Personally the only thing that would get me to sign up for a + service would be psp/ps1 game rentals.
I hope Sony announces a PS3 price drop. This new 360 was really underwhelming, although I'm kinda happy about that after buying a new Elite recently.
