There's gonna be a new version of Blood for the Dreamcast. Personally, I never liked that game since the Build engine was really getting old by that point and FPS games were getting really derivative too (well, they always were and still are, except for a few..more derivative I guess). Edit: Shadow Warrior at least let you shoot nukes and slice enemies in half!
I remember Blood! It was an awesome game, I'm still waiting for Atari to either release the source code or make Blood 3.
Aww, blood. Another big fan here, just gotta love all the attention to details. There is also so much quotation, references and whatnot. "Oh, that must've been one of them doom space marines!" The second one in the series never really did it for me. It wasnt that bad. Not that good either. And certainly not as great as the first. Those where the days, kicking zombie heads around a carnival and setting mimes ablaze.
Yeah, there was no Doom reference in Blood (there was a Duke Nukem corpse in one level though, and Shadow Warrior had a Lara Croft reference). Duke 3D had the legendary "That's one DOOMED space marine!" part.
It looks like 3D Realms is looking for a partner to possibly finish the game. Why the fuck do stupid politics fuck everything up?
I believe it is how capitalism works. "if we can´t get any money out of it, then nobody is going to get anything out of it". Or that is just life sometimes. But hey I can´t do anything about it, even though I really wish it sometimes that I could.
