I've just decided to try and acquire more items and I have the Japanese versions of DOAU and DOA2LE on the way.

    Anyway, here we go:

Nope, I do intend to get the PAL version of DOA3 at some point. It does feature some gameplay differences. I'm also very interested at picking up the various version of DOA2 and guides. I'm going to try and space out my eBay purchases though. I've bought a handful of items, two of which haven't yet arrived including the Dreamcast JP DOA2LE and Xbox JP Dead or Alive Ultimate.

DOA 2 is one of the few fighters I've ever got even partway competent at. Isn't the series kind of mocked by the serious fighter crowd? I wouldn't pretend to know, the tourney folks and their ways are way out of my depth.

The Aussie PAL DoA Nintendo 3DS game (pre-25th of June 2011) is a collector's piece now.

Don't forget the Playstation and Saturn releases, but I'm sure you haven't.

I'm trying to keep my collection strictly on the fighting game side of the series and not the awful fanboy pleasing side. Although I'm attempted to pick up a legit version of the first Volleyball game because one of the extra videos contains footage of beta gameplay and stages not in the final release(s) of DOA2.

I have the JP Saturn LE on the way and I plan to pick up the rest eventually. The real trouble items are going to be the arcade machines... DOA1, DOA++, DOA2 and DOA2 Millennium. Yes, the official title on the last one is misspelled and it annoys me to no end, haha.

"How did I miss that small line of text versus the huge image?" Yeah, not a big deal.

Anyway, I got this little gem today:

But I'm a bit disappointed... The spine card is missing! It was in the photo on eBay and specifically mentioned in the auction text. I went for the pricier one specifically for the spine card. Argh! I am disappoint.

I really, really hate DOA Dimensions so probably not... Unless I can pick it up for cheap. It was reintroduced with a different rating so I don't think it's as rare as you're making it out to be.

    You looked in the manual?

If it's not in there I'd send a very whiny message to the seller
