But I tried that a long time ago. I think i used Win95 or Win98. Propably I will try it again, when I have too much freetime :icon_bigg

ASSEMbler, graciano1337, Matthijscoman, samael64; Many thanx for you kinds words! Check out this photo/scan from retrousb.com: http://www.retrousb.com/products_pictures/powerpakbig.jpg A photo of my own PowerPaks The PowerPak I use with my Famicom Titler is a flashcart. It is really nice that it works out of the box with the Titler, which as you know have a RC2C05-99 RGB PPU. The PowerPak have some issues with RGB modified NESes with RP2C03B/RC2C03B/RP2C03C PPUs. The PowerPak Lite is a RAM cart and requires a CopyNES modified NES, which allows you to upload code from a PC. It has no issues with the RP2C03B/RC2C03B/RP2C03C PPUs btw There are some photos of my RGB modified CopyNES eariler in this thread: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=178399&postcount=24 More photos comin'
I was moving some items today and took some photos while I was at it. Thought some of you might find them interesting... The Nintendo family computer The boxes A Game Master setup with Master Link Famicom "copiers" and savegame devices Dr. PC Junior from Bung. Famicom clone that can load ROMs from 3.5" floppies. PC-Engine devices: - PC Doctor 4M - FFE Magic Super Griffin - NEO PCE Super Flash cart 128Mbit - ToToTEK PCE-PRO 32Mbit flash cart Sega Master System items: - Master System (JPN) with gender adapter in expansion port - Master System 2 (EUR) with RGB-mod and 50/60Hz switch - ToToTEK SMS-PRO 32Mbit flash cart A couple of different Korean Samsung Mega Drive 2s... Studyplay System - Mega Drive clone that loads ROMs from CD-ROM Alma CD-X VR-CD for the Mega Drive. Loads ROMs from CD-ROM. Still reversing the BIOS to figure out the disc format. Learned a lot about the ATAPI standards from doing this... FFE's SWCDX2 supports 2.88MB floppy drives, so I just had to install one of those for my favorite copier... Bung MGD3 setup That's it for now
As always very interesting stuff. I always wanted one of those Studyplay System when they were released but could never find a place that sold then at a decent price. How is the quality on those units and is the cloned hardware good? Most have really poor sound from what I've been told. Yakumo
Thanks for the kind words guys. I really appreciate your feedback! There are so many great collections here at AG! Recently I noticed however that my thread had gotten quite a numbers of views the last 6 months without me posting anything, so it inspired me to post some more I really fancy the Famicom and HK accessories myself and was very excited when I finally got that Master Link. If anyone is considering getting a HK Famicom just remember that it outputs PAL at 50Hz (over RF without modification). For a long time I had the Studyplay in the living room on top of a Pioneer DVL-909 with the same gold color, and my wife didn't complain, so I guess it passed the test in terms of looks. The Famicom Titler didn't.... I am afraid the quality for the Studyplay isn't the best. It's so fragile. I handle it like I can imagine I would handle nitroglycerin - always afraid what might happen I haven't really given the sound quality much thought, but it runs at 50Hz which is really annoying. The Shinco 868 is probably a better unit and does 60Hz too AFAIK CF
ConsoleFun: I am impressed beyond normal status. Wow man, I just your collection, and thanks for showing the family basic package, perhaps shiggsy can now figure out, that his tape thingy, is perhaps a basic package part ? or perhaps something even more obscure.
 Holy Hot Damn! What dont you have man?!?!?! You have everything I have always dreamed of wanting and then some! Really amazing... Really awesome. Seeing all this owned by one individual puts a big smile on my face! :icon_bigg
WolverineDK, thx for the kind words. I must admit that I find the FC BASIC setup pretty neat myself There is a similar setup with keyboard and tape drive for the Sega SC-1000/3000 series, which would be nice to check out one day as well . Don't think I remember Shiggsy's tape thingy. Any posts about it? Instinctively tape drives makes me think of systems that were sold 1985ish. I grew up with the C64, ZX spectrum and Amstrad CPC, which (as you know) all had ROM BASIC and tape drives... Thx GrumpyRobot! Would very much like to see your collection Thx CrAzY! Your words put a smile on my face Appreciate it! Somehow I feel like doing some floating point math now... yes I am a geek CF
