    ^^ not disagree, but EVADE!
but just for english users, they've got the edge, because they SHOULDN'T be arsing around with 'grammar' BS..
i could be wrong but it's a tech/game forum, NOT a school playground for KIDS and the STUPID!

I think you should probably add yourself to your own ignore list. Wanting to nuke an entire country and calling it a shithole because a few people on a forum filled with elitists and kiddies realized something winds you up and then ran with seems to be evasive of "common sense".

Well, uhh... this thread took a turn for the interesting.

But yeah, I reread ASSEMBLER's first post, and it put it into perspective. Sure I don't sell anything or make money from the site, but I have bought stuff, and if ebay gets to take a cut, Assembler should get his too. I've also gotten some excellent info here in the past, maybe before I even signed up for the forums. That's worth something... And every little bit counts.

$5 is a high "floor" for donations, but you don't have to donate $5 every month...

Even if the site costs Assembler less than $120/mo to run, there's nothing wrong with asking for that much.

^^ no, the forum stuff was a highlight of the CRAP cUnt-ry i live in! (and the english attitude is the same here as it is IRL)
it seems i CAN'T escape that 'englishness' on this forum, everywhere else i do, get NO stick, the folks are there to learn, educate and share!
    ...
nice response by the way! (and yes, can't wait for china or the old CCCP to take control of this pathetic world)
    ...
yeah, copy that chatbox entry so it doesn't look like you're mad!
    ...
    [edit]

Complains about kids shitting up the forum, then [HILARIOUSLY might I add /s] capitalizes the "cunt" in country and generalizes that everybody in said country is out to get them and resorts to "umad" level shitposting. Not childish at all.

    ^^ what does that mean?
    i think i know?
what i meant is, 'copy the item you hold against me so it doesn't look like it's made up'!
    ...
and there's a DAMN good reason for generalizing/stereotyping, they ALL live up to expectations/disappointments. (and experience dictates CAUTION)
and as it happens, i have NO english friends IRL (bar one) all immigrants, EXCELLENT folks that contributed to our once great nation.
    ..
i've lived long enough in this....place top know what's destructive and what's not, and the overseas crowd was a BLESSING in many forms, thanks guys for adding something worthwhile to this joke of an island!)

To be fair, if you arent going to follow how the English language uses punctuation and grammar, dont be mad when people say your posts are hard to read (they are, seriously).

You dont need "..."'s between paragraphs for starters.

Yes. Every native person in the UK has a gripe with amiga1200's english speaking or written skills.
Protip: It sounds like YOU are the problem and causing conflict. I manage to be good friends with immigrants and native English people.

I know that your posts have helped me in the pas especially when I've been researching Dreamcast stuff. This is obviously why people are here. The huge amount of knowledge and information is staggering. All you have to do is dig through the forums to find what you are looking for in most cases.

Johnny, you're a mod and do an awful lot of background work here just like myself and the other mods so I don't think you need to worry about donations too much. After all you've probably deleted more spam bots than all of us put together.

Think the donation thing is screwed. I donated three days ago but donations bar is still sitting at $35. Paypal confirms payments been completed

I agree with bad_ad84 that you shouldn't be throwing away free help and that you should get a cheaper host. Personally I would take the advice and help if I was an Administrator.

I think that is something Kev actually updates himself or a mod/admin does. I remember him saying something along those lines from people asking before.
