Digitpress gallery system "Room of Doom" is back,so i managed to put everything in 1 url (2 pages,22 sub albums): http://www.videogamecollectors.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=6898 I don't know how to close the 3-4 threads i started (by system), but now i managed to put everything together I'll update next week with the PCE stuff.I still need to make pics of the SMS & FDS fullsets, but well..that is enough for the moment
Amazing collection ('s) One comment on those pics though, you should really note that those Unreleased Master System games are re-productions, its abit misleading. I have the same set (and a few more besides). I don't include them in my pictures as they are just re-productions.
I know, but hadn't time to make pics of my SMS PAL fullset (+ Us&Brazilian exclusives) When i will (most of them are 700km away of me)this picture will be in the album, not highlighted.
yeah..human words can't express the jawesomeness of such a great and sheer infinit collection:nod: i always wondered how a man can obtain such a huge amount of things and even lots of rare and sealed stuff. and that all in a single life of still a young man. so adol, tell us your success story in details :icon_bigg
Thanks! But i'm "mismatching" you with Type-R..are you the same person? The person who bought me my Factory sealed Gunhed, and overbid me on Factory Sealed Devil Crash? ;-)
I didn't have time to resize the pics for forum rules, but i updated my old pics, now all my PCE CD/SCD/ACD games have their spine cards, 70% of the whole fullset is factory sealed (around 450 games) : Japanese Fullset PC Engine Hucard CD/Super CD/Arcade CD/Supergrafx I updated my old pics of the Nec PC-FX fullset as well: Fullset Nec PC-FX,50% Factory sealed Otherwise: General album! Enjoy!
Too bad i forgot my spanish I understand it,but forgot how to write it Mainly your topic goes into a PAL <-> NTSC thread, right? Some still think i don't play my games, right? Too bad they're talking without knowing..i played 70-80% of my games, for PC Engine Hucard/CD/SCD/ACD,supergrafx,PC-FX,SMS,SFC,MD,MCD,32X,GG,N64,DD64..i played them back at the time,in the 90s when i had a lot of time as a teenager! But I admit i played less Saturn&Dreamcast games, yes indeed
I noted you were trying to sell your saturn collection a little bit back on ebay. Something in the ballpark of 20k? Would that have made you any profit, loss, or were you just trying to brake even?
No,i don't know how much i precisely paid for the wholeset,i haven't kept all invoices for so long. I'm not willing to part with it,but IF it get sold for 20000€,i'd sell it,yes.I think somebody who is looking NOW for a fullset, starting from Zero, will pay slightly less, but it'll take months/years of effort, and this has a price ( or not depending if you look at it as a hunt, and the pleasure/thrilling of the hunt). I put them on Ebay mainly for advertizing/catching ppl attention to my other auctions.
Adol, you are probably the only person I know who has a more impressive collection than I do. Very nice, indeed. But one thing I don't really understand is why collect factory-sealed games? You can't play them. You can't enjoy them. You can't even open them. If I have factory sealed games (and I have some), I won't open them. But I wouldn't pay more for a game that was factory sealed just so I could put it on a shelf and look at it.
You don't always have to open them to enjoy them, that's YOUR point of view, not an absolute truth Why factory sealed games those days are worth 10-20 times more than used copies (Chrono Trigger goes for $2000)? I don't suggest you to go there then: http://sealedgame.heavenforum.com/ But i have most of my games used, not factory sealed.
There are more ways for playing those games. For example, if he wants to play The King of Fighters 98, he could play the Neo Geo AES version and keep the Neo Geo CD copy sealed, or if he wanted to play some Dreamcast game he could play it emulated or using a CD-R, or just get an unsealed copy (most japanese Dreamcast games are cheap, just a 25% or so go over 15$).
