If you have 2 Kunio-kun gold carts (although technically imcomplete as it's missing the perspex display holder), and there are 6 others currently in shops (Mandarake in Nakano has 2) and I know of one Japanese collector who has one then there aren't 8 rumoured copies as that makes er 9. I seriously doubt that that's all the copies that exist in the world too. :thumbsup:

I saw 3 Kunio-kun gold cassettes for sale at the same time on Yahoo! Japan Auctions just last week (Adol bought one of them again). ^_^

I bought a bundle of 2 games,not a "single" kunio-kun gold cart.
So it's not one of them.

 

But I didn't say you bought a single gold cassette by itself.

I only said you bought one of them that's all. The one you bought (with Yoshi no Cookie: Kuruppon Oven de Cookie) is one of the 3 I had seen.

I just got 2 very nice items for my PC Engine&SFC Collection:
Youkai Dochuuki Gold Hucard ^^







Note the serial number on the back of the hucard is different than the original game (A80126)

And a BRAND NEW IN BOX Yoshi no Cookie Kuruppon Oven de Cookie edition for Super Famicom:

It's a special edition, 500 copies only. Worth up to 300000Y one time,you can now get it for around 150000Y in such condition..I'm selling my extra one for $500 (because the extra haven't the Oven version box,just the normal one.

 

Awesome Youkai Douchuuki Gold. But I thought you won the sealed one some time ago, didn't you mention that in the yahoo thread? The opened one is also missing the golden case.

 

Seems like the global downturn isn't effecting Adol one bit

 

I think for being a great/rare collector item, to be missing the golden case thingy is only a little downer, because I think they are really difficult to collect at all anyway.

This is a normal Youkai Dochuuki casing,worth nothing. Consider it just a loose Youkai Dochuuki Gold Hucard...still,very rare to cross by.
