Yeah, I've been on sealedgameheaven.com. I am resistered there. Don't worry. I know it's my point of view; collecting is a solely subjective hobby. It is all about collecting what is pleasing to oneself. For me, though, I like to be able to at least look at the game cart or CD. Otherwise, I'd be wondering if it could be a fake seal and inside is a decoy or something. The only way to know for sure what is inside is to open it, and then it is not sealed anymore. A true dilemma. Anyhow, I am not knocking your collection. I'd seen it already it on DP. As I stated earlier, it is very nice indeed.
Personally, I wouldn't care about owning hundreds of copies though if they looked genuine outside. I wouldn't open them anyway - so I'll never find out (and some buyer wouldn't do it as well I assume. And if they are really new, genuine games (which is of course easy to proof) then I'd have no fear of owning counterfeits).
Well, for Dreamcast i bought them on release day (or month of release day) then i'm pretty sure it's really factory sealed. For other,i hope i got expertise enough during all those years to recognize a fake from a true factory sealed game. But as told earlier, only 30% maybe of my stuff is factory sealed. Famicom,Suiper Famicom,N64,DD64,Megadrive,32X,Gamegear,PC-FX fullsets are not factory sealed for example. PCE Hucard/CD/SCD/ACD is 70%,Dreamcast is 100%...but that won't "categorize" me into a factory sealed addict, right?
Considering that you have practically more than 1000 factory sealed games... well yes, I'd say you are still one of the rather addicted sealed collectors here
I have more than 1000 factory sealed games for SURE. But still,it is 15% of my collection..That's like somebody having 20 games, and 3 of them are factory sealed..does that make you a factory sealed addict? I'm not sure..
Yeah, but it needs even more to buy the 7000 other ones, not sealed That was my point..i'm not desperate after a factory sealed game,if i get ti for a good price, that's ok,if not, well i pass and stay with my mint used copy. I'm not talking of course of collections which were never sealed (MD,Super Famicom,Famicom)
I think that statement alone relieves you from any Sealed-Game-Junkie allegations. That's kinda my position as well. If I get a sealed game, good; I won't open it. But I won't go crazy (put a lot of time or money into) trying to get one.
If i can get a factory sealed one for +/- 20% more than what i could sell my mint used copy for, i'd go for it.
Up! I changed the pictures of my Saturn album, because i managed to find around 100 spine cards those last months. Still need around 10 spine cards, and i'll get the whols japanese fullset including spine cards! I added too a sub-album for factory sealed games, putting about 60 of my best factory sealed titles (i have more than 200) Enjoy! http://www.videogamecollectors.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=51402 http://www.videogamecollectors.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=6898
Well,it is 4 years old, they did it in 2005,approx. same time than Coca Cola PSP. This is a not for sale DS system...contest prize. There is TONS of limited systems, but i enjoy Pepsi more than Coca Cola (i'm talking about the beverage),so i wanted it ^^
Pepsi cola is better than coca cola, the is no comparison avaible ! And these DS pepsi is so cool unlike the coc PSP who is to simple-minded without any real custom or accessories. subliminal message you have to sell your aiwa CSD-GM1 to lim-handek, you have to sell your aiwa CSD-GM1 to lim-handek, you have to sell your aiwa CSD-GM1 to lim-handek, you have to sell your aiwa CSD-GM1 to lim-handek. subliminal message end
