Just a small reply to what you're asking... I've tested it with a Kingston 16gb CF and it worked :)

I really see no reason why anyone would want to change the menu, it's nice and slick looking - kept simple which is awesome.

Also, no saves ever saved on the "N64 itself", but on the cartridge of controllerpak. These cartridge saves will be written to the CF in a "saves" directory. Who knows what the future will bring regarding Controllerpak.

The 64drive won't let you down, it's so easy to use :)

So the testing seems to be over... Does anybody have an idea when is it coming out?

Well Marshallh is still working on flashram... so there's not much point in testing Dezaemon now.

Why is Dezaemon so important?.... wouldn't it be easier just to buy that one game?

and why not to know whether you have to buy that game or not?
Update: Just read this in Wiki:
So, according to this, first it is a Japanese cart and 64drive is region-free, so owners of US and EU consoles don't have to buy a pricey Japanese version of N64 or a glitchy hardware region changer.
Second, saving your progress in creating your own game is much better to do on a compact flash card to share the results then in the Internet. I can't even imagine how can it save on a 256k memory Pak... and how you dump the save from Pak to PC. 64drive would make these things much easier, even if you have this cartridge (which is also rare, I can't find it on eBay).

    First:
The 64drive would be the only cart to support 768kb SRam. That´s someting that really adds valour to the cart!

    Second:
Lady Eclipse is right. It would be so much easier to share self designed games.
Currently there is no way to share your games, maybe Dezaemon DD will make this possible, but not for now...

marshall will your cart be using the same sort of save setup as Everdrive is using, wherein you have to reset before poweroff to backup the save data, or is 64Drive going to save like a regular cart and just backup when needed

Will we need to format the Compact Flash card into 2GB partitions like the ZD64 CF Mod requires or can we put everything into one big partition?

And will the partition need to be FAT or FAT 32?

Thanks. Looking forward to the release.

I bet FAT32, since FAT is limited to 2GB IIRC ;)

If you change the clump size, you can get 4GB out of FAT16, but that's the limit. Also, some systems won't read a 4GB formatted FAT16 card because they use signed arithmetic for the filesystem variables - 4GB FAT16 depends on unsigned.

I'd like to hear if there is some working progress? Maybe some new videos to youtube or pictures? :) This flash card looks so promising!
