I woke up and checked e-mail at 7 Aug 10:08 GMT +2 and placed the order immediately within 5-10 minutes.
But the actual message by Marshallh here was written at 5:08 GMT +2. Haven't received the notice either.
All of them had placed their orders right before you and me, because when I was ordering there had been 10 messages about having had ordered it.

Well, isn't he building them himself? He can only build so many and ship so many at once.

I just placed my order the other day, I've accepted the fact that it may take it a awhile.

Don't stress though, marshall is a trustworthy guy, you'll get it.

I didn't mean to imply that marshall isn't trustworthy, as I have no qualms about that. To be honest, I'm just antsy waiting for this to arrive! I figured that my order was definately one of the first, but I guess marshall really did get a large number of orders! Oh well, I'll just continue waiting for my shipping notice. Congrats to marshall on the success of the 64drive!

One thing to keep in mind is that 50% of the preorders occured within the first 2 days

I understand about there being a vast amount of pre-orders, Marshall, but is there any way we can get a rough time-frame for the most recent people who ordered the cart to get theirs?

Sorry to bug you, and I don't expect you to be a 100% concrete with timing as you're building them yourself. I'm just really anxious to get mine, I can't wait to test the badboy out.

Sorry if I sound like an ass... but please be patient and let Marshall work on shipping out everything in stead of supplying "time-frames". All pre-orders will be delivered sooner or later.

But I do understand that you want this badly and trust me, it's the best N64 "flash cart" out there.

I am being patient, lol. That's why I asked for a rough time-frame, with the amount of orders he has and the fact that he's only human, I fully understand it'll take him time.

I told someone to be patient on another forum, and they all went off at me

But yes. Be patient. Give Marshall a break. He has to make one-by-one himself. The guy can only do so much! ;-)

Maybe Marshall could do a list with all buyers and give each a number, then post at what number he is atm like every week or so. That would help those who are unpatient. :p
Like on chrismas where you open a door every day on your advent calendar. Deep inside we all are still childs ^^

Most people are being patient, Antinull. We all know that Marshall has a lot of orders, it's going to take him awhile.

@sanni You could always PM him, although I doubt he'll have the time to reply given that building these is mostly what he's been focusing on for awhile..

I don't know much about the customs in Australia, I just hope they don't screw you over because of the nature of the device. Given the fact that the N64 is pretty much a dead console, I doubt they would care, but still.

I can't wait to see my shipping notice, I check my email multiple times a day just incase. Mainly because I don't trust my neighbors and I'd rather get my package inside before someone notices it.

USPS will usually just set stuff down outside the front door, or put it in the mailbox if it's small enough. I'm hesitant about UPS as well, considering the idiots threw my Darksiders copy for the 360 when I bought it after it came out on the concrete outside and cracked the case.

UPS has a bad habit of failing to knock on the door and have someone sign for a package like they're supposed to. I've had stuff delivered without a proper notice, and they will update the tracking information saying it was signed for at the front door, when it wasn't.

At my old place, UPS put some PC parts I ordered from newegg on the sidedoor of the house that no one uses, in the rain, and put a tiny little bag over it. If I hadn't have happened to have walked out there not long after they dropped it off, it probably would of been damaged.

I've even went as far as to complain to UPS about how they deliver stuff out here, the guy that does this route is a slacker who's in a hurry.. They didn't do anything though -sigh-

I've had UPS leave stuff in front of my garage door. Not between the two garage doors but in front of one. I have run over packages twice. Once on the way out. Another time on the way in because the garage is around a corner due to a retaining wall. &^^$ I have complained to UPS to no avail.
