I've had a package reach Denmark in 3 days. Then 4-5 weeks for Australia. It really varies.

64drive pal don´t work on nintendo 64 pal

Hello, when I was playing lilatwars ntsc on my nintendo 64 pal with the 64drive pal the game crashes and I turn off my nintendo 64 but the 64drive isn´t star. I updated the firmware and returned to work but when I played lilatwars again the game carshes again and the 64drive don´t start.
After this problem my 64drive don´t working properly. Normally he don´t start. Other times, when it starts is bloqued in a game (resident evil 2, lilat wars, .......). It is updated with the latest firmware, boot loader and menu (1.07, 1.01 and 1.01). can be it hardware problem (which is bad) or software?. In case of hardware problem, you exchange me for another Marshall?. I´m from Spain. Sorry for my bad English.

Firmware 1.02 is out with easy upgrader also. Fixes incompatibilities with some micro SD cards.

 

I sent you two emails explained the problems one or two days ago. I updated the firmware to 1.02 but the problems persists.

 

It takes time. Usual turn around time for bugfixes can take months, marshalh has been pounding them out alot quicker. He even bought a memory card from me that was incompatible to make 64drive better. Marshal has been a little distant for the customer service aspect, but he more than makes up for it in his badassed coding skills. give it time.

Additionally if the rom image you have is messing up 64 drive, try a different rom image, after re-updateing the firmware. if that doesnt work, see if you can send him the image. Also see if others are experiencing the same problem with the same setup, to rule out if you have a defective unit.

 

If you use the easy upgrader you need to install some libs or the updater won't start. You should state that somewhere in the manual
I think installing C++ 2008 Redist did the trick, I don't know exactly because I just installed everything I found on the web and then it worked.
