Announcing the 64drive nearing completion

    I think it is not software problem. I think it is hardware problem. The cartridge does not start the menu many times. Othertimes he start other not start. I have tried many roms and block with all. After the cartridge is bloqued in a game I turn off/on the console and he don´t start the menu. I tried with two memories micro sd (kingston 4GB and 8GB Samsung) and the problem remains. My current situation is that I have a cartridge that does not work and I paid over $ 200

    Don't worry about it. If it's found that your cart is faulty, you'll get a replacement. Similar thing happened to me and I got a replacement cart with no problems.

    I've just come to use my ancient Spook 1M Controler Pak, and it seems to have died. Presumably a dead battery. I had no idea N64 Controller Paks used batteries. This lead me to thinking that it would be nice to have a feature added to the 64drive that allows you to backup/restore Controller Paks. When you have time for it, how about it marshalh?

    Marshallh told me that Controller Pak saves dumping via 64drive will definitely happen when he has time to implement it.

    Yeah, it's going to happen, it's entirely possible. Although, I wish he'd find some way for us to cheat, even if it involves something entirely different from AR or GS.

    Hello marshallh, I still have the problem with the 64drive and you have not mentioned if you'll return the money or Replaceable by other 64drive. If you do not propose a solution I will have to go to the police to report the case. I contacted paypal and they support me and they give me all the documentation required to report. The problem is evident that is for the hardware. Please, I hope you understand that I just want to have what I paid and I would like to resolve it as best as possible so I hope a solution.

    I've done ..... without result. Besides the cartridge would have to start when you turn off the console. I'll post a video later.

    Um, your issue is that the cartridge doesn't have power when the console is off? What?

    I have a feeling English isn't your native language, which isn't any problem.

    However, you think maybe you can type in your native language and let someone use google translate?

    I have a feeling we'll be able to understand you better if that's done.

    Also, marshall is a great guy, just give him time to respond and he'll more than likely help you out. Threatening legal action, trying to get the money back through paypal, etc, is just going to cause unnecessary drama.

    He didn't steal anything from you, plenty of other people have their 64drive and it's working perfectly. How do we know you didn't do something to cause this? Maybe throw it, spill something, etc?

    Sorry for throwing accusations around, but your less than mature attitude is starting to come off as obnoxiously annoying.

    Hola c-kronos como deduces mi lengua materna no es el ingles sino el español (soy de españa). Mi intención no es causar ningun drama ni nada por el estilo, solamente quiero, en buen estado, algo por lo que he pagado (nada mas y nada menos que 155€-->200$). Me consuela saber que Marshallh es un gran tipo pero llevo posteando desde hace más de una semana mi problema y de momento no me ha respondido nada (algo podria haberme dicho) acerca de descambiar por otro o devolverme el dinero. Acerca de que como sabreis si yo le he hecho algo al cartucho es tan sencillo como que cuando le llegue a Marshallh el cartucho el lo abra y vea que fisicamente está en perfecto estado (a simple vista verá que el cartucho no tiene nigun tipo de liquido, ni arañazos, etc...). Mi actitud para tí puede resultar inmadura pero ya me gustaria a mi ver que haces tu si te gastaras 200$ en algo que no funciona.

    Do you have a second N64 you can test it on? It could be worth a shot.
    I also see you have a Expansion Pack. Do you still have the original Jumper Pack and could try a game like Mario 64 with the Jumper Pack installed instead of the Expansion Pack?

    It's also the end of the college semester here, so if you emailed the help address, I'm sure you'll get a response, just give him some time. I'm sure he's quite busy right now.

    Marshall will more than likely replace it if it is indeed his fault that it's in such a condition. Possibly even if it were an issue in terms of shipping.

    However, he's in college and it's nearing the end of the semester, so he's going to be busy with finals and such that are crucial to his future.

    If you'd just be patient, he'll get back to you.

    On a side note, you're not the only person in the world who's spend a lot of money on something only to have it not work.

    The key to getting your issue resolved is patience and being polite.
