On what basis did they decide to reverse the unpaid strikes? Wouldn't he have to demonstrate that he actually paid (presumably via paypal) for that to happen?

    Damn.

Ask your dad do to a police report about this guy (wasn't the cellphone from your dad?).

Not only he's threatening you, but he's accusing you of fraud. Also, do what you can to fuck ebay. It was their obligation to help you, but they are avoiding the responsability on this.

You do live in the UK normally, right? If so contact the financial ombudsman (you can use email) after saying to ebay/paypal that are going to do so. The ombudsman will advise you on what to do. You can even claim fees back off them. My mum used them when she was harassed at work and got positive results.

Twimfy: Write the Consumerist, write Good Morning America, write the media, if you can get the media to latch onto it (especially the Consumerist) eBay will be quick to fix things up real quick, and keep up with the small claims court.

Just to let everyone know, after threatening eBay with a small claims court letter the completely removed all existence of the dodgy buyer from my account. Took a while but got there in the end.
