Yeah, that's JJ. He sold it but the guy never paid so he relisted it.

The "buyer" is a member of NintendoAge. There was a payment plan set up between the two, but the buyer had to back out months into it for personal reasons.

Its curious all these TWC carts are popping up now. Maybe like in stocks they're thinking sell now before a price drop happens. Theres alot going on now with modern Nintendo slumping. That may start to affect the 8 bit prices.

 

I've heard they've been making reproduction carts for years now, I wouldn't be surprised if one of these showing up is it.

Either that or everyone heard that they're worth $10 grand and found the ones they owned.

 

The reproductions, atleast those made by RetroZone, are made so they cannot be confused with the originals. However, it's possible someday someone will make clones that look just like the originals.

 

yea isn't the reproduction carts blue and it says reproduction on it.

At least the post added more information to a topic rather than moaning about a thread bump.

My guess is that since the BBC article on the NWC cart a lot more people are digging around trying to find an old cart they used to own or just creating fake carts to cash in on the hype.
