Locke is dead. The Locke from Season 5 is what people call the "anti-Jacob," the guy you saw in the opening of the finale. I liked the end of the finale.....just as a predicted. White screen with "LOST" before fading out. Now no one knows what's going to happen. Was the bomb the incident that created the need for the station? Were they able to change the future? What I'm wondering is how they're going to promote season 6. They can't show any clips at all from it or else everyone will know what happened...heh.
I think the obviously question is: When did anti-Jacob become Locke? Probably when he came into contact w/ his corpse. I think it's obvious this guy can take on the guise of dead people. IMHO, he was Alex when Ben had his little moment underground. That was my point. If they would've shown us a nice 5 second teaser it would've been advertising heaven. Instead, it'll be crap. I'm kind of a fan of Juliet though, so I'm hoping she survived. You must admit, she has great cans. And I'll take a stab and say that Richard came on the Pirate ship!
Yeah, it's my understanding that anti-Jacob can take on several forms. He was Locke as well as Jack's Dad (Christian) as well as Ben's daughter. You can also assume he was Remi, Hugo's hospital friend, etc. The producers have been pretty strict with the "What happened, happened" theory of time travel. They said they know people have invested time and emotion in the scenes and they didn't want to throw all of that away and have Jack wake up in LA while fans suddenly realize that everything they've seen has suddenly been erased from existence. They said that a while ago so it's possible that some things have changed, but probably not. That leads me to believe that the plot with the bomb won't be successful. It might change the immediate future but fate will course correct in the end. You're probably right about Richard. A lot of people have speculated that he was on the Black Rock or a descendant of the Black Rock. You liked Juliet? Something seemed off about her, like she had a screw loose. She seemed kind of robotic at times. I'm just glad that Claire vanished. I couldn't handle more of that Aussie accent yelling, "My baby my baby he's after my baby he's trying to hurt my baby"
MMMM Juliet. She got em out in a movie with Angelina Jolie. Anyway, I'm just hoping they dig up some of the older forgotten secrets such as the two skeletons in the cave with the white and black stones (I'm guessing it might be rose and bernard). I can't bear the thought of them leaving anything open to interpretation.
That's interesting! As for the anti-jacob / "esau" / "bob" / etc, he sure has some shapeshifting abilities but if you notice when Ben tells the fake Locke that Alex talked to him inside the temple, the fake Locke looks really surprised as if he didn't knew. Although it might have been him anyway, as he had to convince Ben to do as he says in order to kill Jacob as I believe he couldn't do it himself and therefore Ben is his "loophole".
I'll have to watch Season 5 again but one scene I remembered was Locke and Ben talking after they return to the island. They're in the office and Locke said he just wanted an apology from Ben for killing him. If that's not the real Locke it seems hard to believe that the fake Locke would be wasting time with such things.
Rearry -- gotta find that one. Any makeout scenes w/ Angelina? What's the name of the movie? EDIT: Good lordy. I guess that's a yes.
A hot girl with a nice set is referenced in 3 separate posts and no one has delivered a video to the thread with said scene? You mean I actually have to go research and find this myself? What is this, the friggen stone ages?
I've got hooked after a friend let me borrow the game and suggested I watch the series first. I'm up to Season 3 since I started this last week or so. Ahh, so many spoilers while skimming the first page h:.
I guess the internet itself is a spoiler too... Goodbye cruel internet :crying:... until I finish LOST.
I'm a big fan of Lost. It is one of the only shows where the choices the characters make frustrate the hell out of me. I sure hope though that they have time to tie up the loose ends like Anne, Libby, the DeGroots, ect. As for fake Locke/Esau... I think they and the Monster are one and the same. I could be wrong since the show likes to throw curveballs but there si quite a bit to suggest that is the path they are taking.
I've just been watching the first 14 episodes because of all the positive comments I read and it's friggin' addictive! Bloody brilliant!
Yeah. Fun shit. I started rewatching since 1) It's the summer and not much else new 2) I got a new screen I need to break in.
