I burned a copy of all 5 seasons for my friend in the US. He knew nothing about the show at all... I wanted to watch it again so he's on his PC and I'm on mine and we're watching them which chatting through messenger. He's asking questions about the plot and I'm trying to be coy without saying, "You're about 5% into it so far..." heh We just finished Episode 5 of Season 1....the one that focuses on Sun and Jin.
It sucks that the real Lock is dead because I really enjoyed his character, and I HATE Jack with a passion, why does he have to take the Locke role now?
Only thing I didn't like about the 5th season was the Sawyer/Juliette love thing. It only lasted for a season and to see Sawyer that upset over it felt a little odd. But, to them it was three years, as opposed to only a few months as the first 4 seasons were...so I guess I could see his emotional state...it just didn't seem to fit for the audience. I'm all for Sawyer growing as a character though, but it felt so sudden to me.
In the show's timeline they were together for 3 years. Far longer than he was "with" Kate, and definitely doesn't hold a stick to when he fucked Anna Lucia out in the woods. Ah, shit.. yeah, remind me to read the whole post before typing.
I liked what they did with Sawyer. He was the one guy who didn't give a shit about anything, then he finally takes a risk and tries a "normal" life, and in the end he gets hurt because of it (we assume).
I haven't seen LOST since the third season. To me I thought it just dragged on far too much, I must watch it again sometime when I find that it's on. =P
SEASON 6 SPOILER: A colleague of mine took some photos of a filming set in Honolulu. Considerint we know absolutely fuck all about where Season 6 will take place, I'd say this is quite a spoiler: You were warned..... Miles & Sawyer in a car -- clearly off the island, and not in the 70's. The set was sometime this past week, so if you scour Lost sites I'm sure you'd know that by now.
Awesome, thanks for posting. I really can't wait now. I recently got my father and my sister into Lost too after buying the first season on DVD and they are rapidly going through the episodes (at season 3 now). When I'm at my parent's I also enjoy rewatching some old stuff (sad, I know).
