Anybody else Playing Tekken Tag 2? Anyone getting DOA5?

I need to start using the Stick, I just cramped my hand blocking like a crazy person. BUT I did win a few online matches.

My hand was at an Awkward Angle pushing Back on my controller.

Bob and Lei are officially my online team.

 

You know you can just leave the pad on neutral and the game block for you (mids and highs only).

Well don't abuse it as you are still very vulnerable to throws and lows

 

I could never get used to not holding back to block...but why would you not use a stick to play fighting games if you've got one?

 

Becasue I have to set up a stand to use it. I can't have an arcade stick in my lap, it's awkward, and I'm just too lazy to get the stand out. Plus I have the Morphing D-Pad 360 controller which is perfect for tekken.

I probably should break it out though see if I improve any.

 

I plan on picking up DOA5 eventually here. It looks really great.

I won't be getting TTT2, i'm not really a Tekken fan. Not my cup of tea. I hope it does well in sales though for the fans sake

HOLY SHIT Itagaki leaving Tecmo was the best thing that could possibly happen to the series. Also... Not to spoiling anything but the way story Mode ends makes me hope Ninja Gaiden 4 follows it up...

 

I want to buy DOA5 but it's bloody expensive here in Japan. 7000 yen is the cheapest I've seen it! I'll wait for Amazon to start selling the Asian inport version.

 

DOA 5 is great, still needs to have it's hanging patched - other than that, it looks great. Very challenging to unlock Alpha-152 though ><

 

Never played a DOA game to be quite honest. But I have to say, nobody on Assembler with TTT2 has a PS3 or what?

My mind forever links Tekken to either arcade units or PlayStations... >_<;

Anyone also customizing their characters?

300 titles YEESH I'm still trying to get Pai. One thing I noticed is that DOA 5's Hard mode... is DOA 4's Normal.

The other thing is I was playing it almost non stop from 3 when I got the mail until around 5 and I only stopped to go to my Class then I came home, made some noodles...then got back to it... took a break...watched South Park, and played until 3 am. I can't remember the last time I wanted to play a game for that long.

You think so? DOA 4's normal was way too hard for me, just way too hard. I couldn't get past stage 1 on hard for DOA 4... Maybe it's just me.

Pai was easy to unlock, getting Alpha-152 won't be easy - think I'm only at 174 titles.

It is an addictive game that's for sure. I was able to clear some command training for a few characters, sigh I guess I have to start using the male characters now
