Does anyone know if the the free loader works with action replay? Cause I got sonic gems collection jpn version and would like to play it on a wii when i get one.
No luck for me. I tried a half dozen different stores, but it appears this area is completely dry. Toys R Us did state that they'll be getting more in over the next few weeks.
I dont have it yet but... 1) No, Only Gcn or VC Controller 2) It is the n64 version emulated. No difference (other then emulation errors and I saw an issue mention on a msg board). 3) Sort of. It suposetly runs in 480 & Progressive scan (if you have the cables). Not really a whole lot they can improve unless they suport HR texturing like most pc n64 emus do. Thats an interesting question. I can answer that when I get my wii but I think it probably just uses the 2nd analog stick. I was actualy lucky enough to find a "classic controller". I say lucky because many stores in the states got none or little. My local EB got 8 units in, My local futureshop had nothing left for accessories (i asume they had little since I dout everybody would buy a VC controller) & luckly a small mom & pop shop (that i somewhat hate since they overprice by $5-$10) had only 4 of them and when I showed up at 3pm I got the last one. Interesting note, I've yet to take it out of the package and see how comfortable it is but over all the size of the d-pad is nice but oddly the analog sticks are TINY. Really really tiny. Actualy yes it does.
Yeah, I went and stood in line with my Brother in Law, who wanted to get his Wii system at launch. We stood there with about another 30 people in GamePlanet near my house, for about half an hour. The launch price is seriously inflated - about four hundred dollars for the machine and Zelda. I for one am very impressed about the machine's gameplay implementation. I wasn't really able to appreciate the graphics on Zelda, but I can say they look more detailed than a gamecube game. The revolution of the Wii is in the gameplay, of course, and I got the hang of fishing and swordfighting pretty easily, as did my girl, who is a serious Zelda fan (as in "let's get the Triforce tattooed on our hands too!"). Coincidentally, the machine was released on a long weekend - As november 20th is the commemoration of the Mexican Revolution. I say that the launch date could not be more appropiate. Too bad about the name change. My girlfriend has pictures, and I'll upload them when she sends them, I guess.
