Although I have grown up my whole life playing videogames (starting with NES at my youngest), the first game I ever truly owned to myself was Super Mario 64 which came bundled with the N64 for Christmas. I still have the console and all the games I have ever owned for it. Even back then though, I still played SNES more. :wink-new:

Yes I do. My first video game was a box of Commodore 64 tapes I got for my 7th Birthday and I still have most of them today. I think the first game I ever bought with my own money was Magicland Dizzy on the C64 which I still have with the rest of the tapes. Those games were fun, I had a few of them, the C64 wasn't a bad system to start out with, it was outdated but still great.

The first PC game I ever played came with my father's Packard Bell PC, it was called MegaRace. It was a ton of fun and Lance Boyle was hilarious! I still have the game and the PC itself along with a bunch of educational titles I played on it! A little too sentimental I guess, lol!

Anyway, the first video game I ever played was Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on the GBC, just a port of the original NES classic, but still a blast!

Since that was a portable title though, I will give my first console titles. The first I ever played was Super Mario World on the SNES at an Embassy Suites hotel and I loved it! I wasn't too keen on the history when I first entered the video game market, I sure am now though! So, when I bought my first console an N64, I kept asking the Toys R' Us guy, do you have Super Mario World, not 64, he finally convinced me to get Super Mario 64 along with Mario Party 2, Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness, Mario Kart 64, Rayman 2: The Great Escape, and Pokemon Stadium and they were all on sale and fantastic, the Gamecube actually came out a few months later! The first one I played though was Super Mario 64! Then I was hooked for life!

Yes still have mine, if memory serves it is Ghouls n Ghosts on Master System that I bought when working at a Toy store all those years ago. Still have it and it is in great knick.

One game I regret losing though, I had the blue label Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion. I took my Master System to a mates place and of ALL the games to lose, he lost that one...... So I just have the standard label now....

Grand Theft Auto III was my first console game and I'm not joking. My cousin suggested it to my Mom and my Mom had no idea about the ESRB rating system.

My very first game was Daley Thompsons Decathalon on the Spectrum, no longer have it.

The first game I ever bought with my own money was Final Fantasy VII for the PS1, I'd made it to disc 3 by renting it (and probably spent way more than it cost to buy the game in the end) and so when my Birthday came around I grabbed a copy.

That was back in 1998. I still have it although disc 1 is majorly scratched and getting past some of the FMV's can take a life time.

The first game I played was technically my Dad's, but yes, I still have it. It was Super Mario Land: The 6 Golden Coins on the GameBoy.

I still own my copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the NES. While we probably owned a couple of games before that, I claim this one as my own because I specifically remember going to Child's World in Hyannis, Mass. and picking it up with my Mom. Good times, good times :)

Nope. It was a commodore 64 tape game. I remember a cave man with a big club. Sidescroller. Can´t remember name of the game.

I still have my first two (since I can't remember which I played first)
Super Mario Bros/Duck hunt (NES) and Sonic 1 (Genesis)

I did however lose a few firsts:
    *First portable (GBC [green])
    *First pokemon (leaf green)

I -think- we still have this in my parents' basement somewhere.

It was either that or a Pong/Tennis machine of some sort, which is likely either in the same place or sold at the same time.
