Arcade Racers, Ridge Racer, Outrun, Initial D, Wangan Midnight ect

I played it back in '87 and also right now on my 3DS in 3D :sneakiness:

 

Hang On was one of those games I only had on Master System and Played the hell out of because I didn't have anything else TO play.

 

Only the SMS version was isometric, I had the C64 version and it was a crappy, slow attempt to replicate the arcade game.

 

Turbo outrun on the c64 is nice, outrun not so much.

 

Three pages and no mention of Virtua Racing?

Also, let's not forget Power Drift, Touge: King The Spirits, GT 24, F-1 Live Information, Code R, Highway 2000, Over Rev, Thrill Drive or Racing Jam, either!

P.S. Hang On GP '95/6 DESERVES to be forgotten. Horrible...

 

I LOVE Power drift. Might nab the Saturn version when I get the chance.

 

i love arcade racers, i used to play a lot of Daytona Usa 2, Sega Rally 2 and San Francisco rush 2049. Now i play some The Fast and the Furious Arcade, it's a spiritual sequel of Cruis'n series (with a little touch of california speed). Not as hard as sega racers, but really fun to play

 

Loved Ridge Racer, not so much the newer games though they feel like Burnout clones. Outrun will always be a favourite of mine. Long live Yu Suzuki!

Been playing MSR on Dreamcast a fair bit the last few days.

 

It's an absolute MUST BUY!

 

Eventually I want to get all the Sega Ages Saturn games. It's the next best thing to having the Cab in your house.
