That SPI flash memory is there just for show. I bet the chip is "fake" too. It probably has just the encapsulation and no die inside.

It's there just to make it look like a "real" modbo.

And people ask me why IO despise Chinese garbage ... lol


Btw, I don't know what CPLD it uses but likely it's something made in China. Could even be a custom made LSI, like the ones on NDS flashcards.
