Yeah! Then when it breaks, you get to listen to Johnny Cash play on the error screen. That would make it a better experience! :110:
Well I picked one up last night. I gotta say Im impressed(not easy to do these days). Sure inital setup was a bitch (use a USB KB) and yeah its loud(just about as loud as my projector, just crank the 5.1), but playing Geometry Wars, Mutant Storm and Fight Night Round 3 in HD on my projector was godamn spectacular (its 6'x8', im talking HUGE). Perhaps its just the fact that my image is so big and in HD, but I think its worth the price of admission so far. Arcade is just brilliant. You don't even need to buy any retail games for the thing(and I would argue that most out ATM are not worth picking up). I did notice my hardwood floor was really warm for about a 2 foot radius around the PSU, so I can see how people have had problems with them defective or not. The wireless controllers are for the most part really well thought out and I love the 4 nubs on the analog sticks. Really just a natural feeling controller, your never stumbling around looking for the right button. I'm sure as I get more time with it some of the issues brought up here will bug me too, but so far im really enjoying it. As long as it keeps working Im gonna be a happy boy.
Sigh.. it went back to the store today... No replacement in stock. I heard horror stories about the refubished motherboards they sling in the repaired 360's.. PASS
One of the units I picked up had an issue connecting to Live. Called up, sent it in and MS sent back a brand spanking new system a week later. No complaints here. -hl718
