Borman and I would like to play some multiplayer on XBOX. However 2 players is not enough, we are hoping to get full amount of players for more fun!

So far the games we want to play are (must have System Link abilities):

• Return to Castle Wolfenstein (Borman)
• Midtown Madness 3 (HEX1GON, Borman, PSPDemon)
• Rallisport Challenge 2 (Played previously, great online! - Borman, HEX1GON)
• Project Gotham Racing 2 (HEX1GON, Banjo)
• Phantom Dust (Borman)
• Star Wars Battlefront II (Borman)
• Crimson Skies (Borman, Dragonslayer182)
• Jedi Academy (Borman)
• Outrun 2 (Borman)
• Timesplitters FP (Borman, szczuru, HEX1GON)
• Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Series (Borman)
• Ghost Recon Series (Syclopse)
• Forza Motorsport (JunioR)
• Conker Live & Reloaded (Master13, HEX1GON) - Up to 16 players!

It would be cool if we could steer away from games which are commonly played online still like Halo. However they won't be ignored!

Other games are welcome for suggestions (your username will be next to the game you suggested). Anyone is welcome to join along and as of right now time and date has to be discussed. As discussed gameplay will/might be streamed so others can watch who can't join in. It'd be great to see XBOX multiplayer to come back in full force.
It would be great if it could be a weekly event if possible, understandable we are from different time zones. Hopefully everyone has a chance to play multiplayer!

I'm willing to stream the gameplay for those who just want to pop by. Between Hex and I, we also have enough XBoxes to leave up some dedicated servers for games like RTCW that support them.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 (Going to be one of the best ways to play this title soon, with Gamespy servers going down)

Timesplitters FP (if we have to play a FPS that isn't RTCW, this one is it)

Damn, how could I forget OutRun and Timesplitters?!

 

Ive been playing splitscreen Timesplitters with one of my friends lately, the bots are actually damn good.

 

Yeah, the AI kick my ass in that game lol.

Which THPS are thinking about?

 

Any of them that people actually want to play. I was always best at the 3rd, personally, but I know 2x is popular around these parts.

 

People are still playing the original xbox online? Hell I'd be down for some PGR2 if it's possible.

 

Alright then, well I thought I would ask before I put it in the list since there's a few haha.

There is but, very few. It's mainly just for Halo I see players for, but I'd like to see more games played. So we thought of this event(s).

Midtown Madness 3 is 8 players, so that should be a fun one to try early on.

I need to own those games legaly. (dont like playing a not owned multiplayer game) but Racing and skating is always fun fighting aswell. and I can lose with alott of fun so you all can win
have to look wich games i realy own, can EU and US games go together? (I asume a hacked box can fix alott of problems?)

 

Not sure if US and EU games work properly together, what version of Rallisport were you using Hex?

 

I was using a Japanese release. That game is region free though so I guess all regions work together.

@Dragonslayer187: No times yet, I'm testing with Borman though just to see how everything goes.

I would be very interested in joining, whichever titles are decided on.

As finals are coming up, however, I would not be available until the week of the 5th.

If everything works out, I should have at least two consoles on my end available to join in.

How might we keep in contact while in-game, for those of us without headsets or for games which do not support them?
Any IM or VoIP client should do, just throwing out some ideas.

 

I would probably go with Skype, since it's pretty easy to use for everyone.

Hopefully we have at least 8 players soon. I know not everyone will be able to play at the same time, I'll try my best to join all of them. It'd be a longshot if I find work within this time lol.

Might have to see about picking some of those games up then I could participate in a future event

 

Do headsets work online? or do we have to communicate another way.

Also what about conkers online? Anyone down for that?

 

Headsets are on a game-by-game basis, some games work, some games dont.
