Hi there, as it seems, Banjo Tooie has been cracked. did anyone already test this on the Everdrive 64? http://www.64scener.com/ Regards, N64
Support for this game should've only been a big deal to PAL users anyway. US/JP carts are affordable enough.
This would make the Harmony for the Atari2600 and the Everdrive64 the only 100% library compatible cartridges on the market.
Does anybody know how to patch the aps file, since this one is available for download? I have advance ptch, but it seems only to work with gba files. Renaming the z64 or n64 roms to .bin does also not work. Anyone an idea?
It works!!! Tested on 64drive. Unfortunatly my everdrive is at another location. Uploading the patch + patcher. All you need is Banjo-Tooie (U) [!].z64 Thanks to Sanny for his tutorial on Winaps Here is the link: http://www.file-upload.net/download-6900620/WINAPS-BT-APS.zip.html Tutorial: 1. Open Winaps.exe 2. select browse on the left side to select the source aps. 3. select browse on the right side to select banjo tooie u.z64 (not included) 4. make sure to select both files in the list 5. check the crc 6. apply patch and have fun
FINALLY!!!!! Imma test this when Bad_Ad84 sends me Everdrive 64 back!! (Assuming he is able to fix it...)
You have the 6102 or PAL equivalent right? I just patched my ROM to be ready for the cart when I get it back.
Cool it was done but anyone waiting years to play a pirated copy have really bad priority decision making.
Yeah, really. I'll try the crack later. Hopefully Marshall can code some magic and make it work without the patch for the 64drive.
Thanks to everybody who got involved with the fix. i tried it on a PAL Everdrive with 7101 Cic. all works fine. played till i defeated Klungo (he ate the bottle, WTF?), saved and restarted, no problem. the game has dolby surround (known as dolby prologic nowadays), so if you have a home theater, you will greatly enjoy the music. it also supports rumble pak, good job RARE.
I'm using a CIC-6102 cart on my NTSC console using the (U) version of the rom. Users have reported that it works fine if using the PAL CIC-7101.
