Is the dpad alright for say Battletoads? Me and girl are trying to beat it. Thats our goal for summer, but all I have is one pad and a NES Advantage joystick.
I dislike Sony's pads from Dual-Shock onwards, the analogue sticks just aren't in the right place. The Gamecube controller fits like a glove however, now if only the D-Pad wasn't just ripped off of the GBA. Ah well, that's what my Hori Digipad is for.
As long as you remember the D-pad is the black edge and not that red thing in the middle you should like it just fine. Most people I know that hated it always tried using the red part. It is especially good for games that use diagonal movements like Contra.
