Not sure if this has been done before (otherwise here is the refresh ;-) we had our fun with the best console ever but what about the best looking one? this is interesting as some obsecure consoles may pop up like the pc-fx/wondermega/sanyo 3do and so on. Let's add dev consoles as well, as they can be goodlooking too! a sexy tool is like a fit ps2 Here go my 5 nominations: -Sega Wondermega -Sanyo 3DO -PC-FX -Xbox 360 (Elite) -Panasonic Q
I prefered the Victor Wondermega as it had nicer coloured buttons. So Victor Wondermega - For the unique motorised top loading tray Panasonic Q - For being shiny! Atari VCS - Loved the lines, the fake wood effect and the switches PC Engine + CD-ROM2 unit - For being the best looking of the CD-ROM add on units. Panasonic 3DO FZ-1 - Is front loading and doesn't look too plastic like.
RETAIL n64+64DD Wii NES Saturn PS3 Panasonic Q DEV-wise 64DD devkit NDEV GDEV TOOL that megadrive+MEGA CD combo devkit KATANA dev boxes
I do like the PS1 as well as the 3do fz-1 Oh and not really a console but i really like the 3do station
one of my favorite is philips cd-i (the black-recorder-like version), also i don't mind 3do. also the white PSX is sexy btw i don't own any of these 3s
SMS1 - such a classic 80's look, with its angular shape and the fabulous red panel with a flow diagram on how to use it. N64 - elegant, from a directly front view its shaped rather like an old mantlepiece clock VCS - love the faux wood panelling, if only I still had a TV with fake wooden panels to go with it! Neo Geo - simple design, but it really looks great, especially with its giant controller and a giant cart plugged in. Virtual Boy - such a great bit of kit to look at, which is good since playing the thing isn't so wonderful
Wow a thread that 3do is top! Ofcourse my choice is 3DO FZ-1 and folowing the sanyo one! M2 prototypes are very sexy and the panasonic Q is very nice!
PC-FX. I also really like the "Funtastic Series" of coloured N64s - especially the green and orange ones.
Top 5 - Wondermega (coolest console ever!) - Sega Mark III - Sega Master System - Panasonic Q - Atari 2600
Retail Dreamcast (hey I like it) PS3 PSX (not ps1) Handhelds: (yeah u said consoles) PSP GBA Micro Devkits: GBA TS(?) 2 Iris/Nitro Teg 1/2 What can I say, I like my devkits nakid
I'd have to say: N64 Twin Famicom black ver. Sega Genesis 1 + Sega CD 1 + Power Base Converter is a good conversation piece too.
