Maybe you could, you know, do some research by looking at Ebay and noticing that a lot of games do go for peanuts and even the games that do sell for lots generally go for lots in Japan, especially if you go to Akihabara...

Some stuff that is more desirable in the west is generally stuff that is heavy or bulky, both of which you are likely to fail on.

    This all sounds like hogwash:clap:

I think you're better off using your collectors eye and luck.
Maybe even focus on other items to bring back like food.
I've gone through Yakumos sight and even old stuff is just as expensive as new stuff.

In the end you'll buy whatever you're able to find that makes sense, and you won't know that is until you get there. It's not like you're going to have a dozen consoles in front of you while you stress over the ones you really want most. It's more likely you'll find a couple of items that 1) you want and 2) aren't overpriced. If you're able to fill up an extra bag to the max then you've done very well....but I wouldn't go there expecting that to happen.

Yeah, but it became more popular in Japan too. The last few went all for 30-40k which is roughly 200-300€. I should have bought the mint copy I saw last year at Super Potato for 26k >_<

How about buying games for yourself so as to not perpetuate the stereotype of foreigner game shoppers?

I fully intend to buy plenty of stuff for myself, i was only asking for peoples opinions on what sells best, i didn't expect to get so much sarcasm from what is usually such a good crowd.

So you were asking for info to buy games to resell yourself.

You're basically coming in here and saying, "tell me how to make money". I'm sure you'd be met w/ the same sarcasm in any community.

Cant stand such people, buying 'cool' stuff just for profit and resell them for profit on ebay..
