    Like my earlier post, bought a shed loads of Y100 games, buit then these were to keep....nothing that cheap would make a profit, unless you sell at a boot sale / flea market and keep your fingers crossed for an idiot :nod:

    You want to make money from Japan? Buy and sell yaoi dojinshi to Western
    fujoshi. Games are high price, low markup. Dojinshi is like 500 yen and you can sell them for $49.00.

    I always thought about doing this to make some extra duckets, but the thought of having that shit lying around (w/ a small child here to boot) has always scared me. I also know nothing of the market... at all (thank God). In fact, I'm always on the look out for Cave doujinshi's (non rape ones) and I have to go through the child porn section of Mandarake to find them.

    @graphique
    LMAO -- how'd you find that?

    I didn't know there was a child porn section in Mandarake, I just thought it was the normal doujin section.

    Depends on your definition of "normal"... and I guess "doujin" at that. Why doujin has become synonymous w/ porn is obvious... and unfortunate. There needs to be a subsection for the non-dirty shit. Some of it is really good.

    Well it is ordered by group so some of it is easier to find, I normally look through random doujin groups and the various bits and bobs and pick stuff out that has a nice cover, not been disappointed with anything so far, mainly anything really dodgy gets shreaded and put in the bin. However isn't there a nice doujin market a few months before the end of year Comiket which only does non adult doujin?

    I believe Comiket is adult only on the last day. Other than that, no idea. The stuff I'm after aren't really big names, so they get put in the "miscellaneous games" section. There's a fair bit of eye scraping when I get done. I think I have all I need though, so I'm good for now.

    I think I know what you're referring to, and it really fucks with my whole "cultural/moral relativism" thing.

    well after all that, the economy going down the toilet meant the prices were so over the top i didn't bring anything game wise back to sell. It turns out the best profits i made were on blank 50gb blu-ray discs, as they are 4x cheaper in japan!

    IN the UK the best 4 speed bd-r 50gb start around £12-15. In akihabara i found them for around £4.50. I ended up selling them for around £10 a disc tho.
