There's one SNES box that has two punk kids on it... I think it's a beat-em-up game, but can't remember. Bloody awful.
That would be Rival Turf by Jaleco. Complete trud of a game that is. The 3rd Rushing Beat in Japan was pretty good though. Yakumo
Well, now i remember the Willow box for NES, it looks like Willow with down syndrome... And i know, Capcom artists are the worst :Hangman:
Bonk's box art repulsed me so much that I wouldn't buy a new Turbo Duo for $59.99 at Toys R' Us in the day. If I had known...
He will be some present or something from sega... The pics only on that side on that box i think tho thers a exclusive box for first shipping that as many more pics. www.dreamcastgallery.com will have it im sure....
That's a dreamcast launch box, the head of promotion or something was using himself as a parody, something about him doing crazy things to please sega fans, an apology of sorts for 32x and such. (far as I know). the capaign box I have (event box) is just a big ass picture of his face like that on the front. funny stuff.
That's Yukawa. He eventually became the ex-head of promotions of Sega. You can see him on such greats as the What's Shenmue promo, or the much rarer Famitsu What's Shenmue. His positino was "Senmu". "moto". The full title of What's Shenmue is "What's Shenmue? Search for Yukawa, the ex-Senmu." Kind of a silly pun. Back to the topic, I think all DC box art for hardware was really lame. The simplicity of a solid color does way more for me than the goofy "high-tech", only one step above Electronik SuperSonik crap. Personally, I think the UK had the right idea w/ the Blue. Orange is a horrible color for video games covers.
I thought it might have been but i remembered it having pictures on all 4 sides not just the back. doh :smt011
THere are two types of the Yukawa Dreamcast box. THere's the one that I have which has the big picture of him. Then there's another than has many little pictures of him. All the little pictures are taken from the Japanese tV adds that he was in. Yakumo
Yakumo: i have heard your midis and i think they are great so i hope this site will have a interrest http://www.vgmusic.com/
:smt033 I'm glad that you liked my midis. Thanks for the link but if you look closely you'll find many of my midis already on that site. They've added many of them to the main sections but many still have not been added such as my Super Aleste midis. Just over at Video Game Music Archive now listening to some very good Castlevania Dracula X midis by Jorge D. Fuentes. His and my midis should be played using Microsoft Midi Synthesizer under GM. I listened to my music on my brothers PC and it sounded total shite. Also tried them on my mum's PC before and they still sounded shite until I changed her midi settings to the Microsoft Midi Synthersizer under GM. Yakumo
Let's see. Here we have the really shitty looking western version of Mini Famicom called NES Classics in what seems to be a standard dull square box. And here we have the very sexy looking Famicom Mini version of Metroid. This packing is far nicer. Plastic box with another mini rendition of the original Metroid box. This is actually from the 3rd set of classics released in Japan which are all now from the disc system. At least with this comparison people can't say that not everyone likes cute big eyed Japanese art. Just the pure thought and style shows that the west just haven't got a clue. Yakumo[/img]
