Box art of horror !!! Enter if you dare

LMAO this thread rocks! Someone already mentioned Cha niki brothers or whatever its called unfortunatly, I was gunna post it hahahah...

Here's some gems.



This poor box can't spell or say anything intelligent, so it relieves it's anger by insulting you. The funny thing is on Ebay, a lot of sellers think the games entire title is HEY PUNK ARE YOU TOFF E NUFF.



Here we see Mega Man being pursued by Santa Claus and two professional wrestlers. Mega Man shows off his marksmanship by shooting above his oppenents head. Also notice he's moved his face shield up, his eyes are closed, and he seems to be trying to both break his foot and fall off the ledge. These are signs of depression.


Here we see Mega Man waltzing through Las Vegas after robbing a NASCAR racer of his clothes, obviously tripping balls. He also looks VERY UPSET! Poor Mega Man......such bad choices.

 

I thought this box art spoke for itself. Yes, this really is the American cover. I thought it was corny when I bought the game (when I was around 11-12).

Edit: Now that I notice it... What the fuck is coming from their feet? It looks like they have jetpack shoes or something...

As for that Megaman box art - the second one is my favorite. EGM described it along the lines of "The winner in a contest where kids with down-syndrome had to draw a space-age ice cream man standing in front of his favorite Disneyland ride".

 

I actually find the design in the "Tuff E Nuff" box quite interesting, though - and quite a novel idea. The name does suck, though. Not such a bad box-art.

Was there any cool Virtual Boy box-art or was it all boring? The labels sure were, in an ugly 90`s technology kind of way.

 

just saw the box art for Bubble Bobble revolution.. WTF!? what happend to the cute little dragons? I bet McDonald moved in to town or something..

I always despised the freakish Atari 400/800 Pac-Man box art. Good game, though.

 

actually, i love it. It's just a different point of view of the game you wouldn't think of in the first place, a bit like those real mario bros artwork. Freaky/cool stuff. and it make sense; pac man.

 

I actually wished they made a game based on the old mario bros artwork. It was really funny in a non-childish way.

 

Almost 3 years and it's still there.
