it should be noted however that had he dipped it in oil instead of water, nothing wrong would have happened, and the cooling effect would have been achieved without risking personal health.

Do you really think that kid would be able to figure that out Barc0de? He'd have dipped it into the only oil he knows before we could fit the safety gloves and stood back! :banghead:

 

Seriously, was the kid of full mental ability or was he somehow challenged? I m asking because stupid as it may sound to all of us, some people are unfortunately a bit dim-witted and can't really perceive danger as a normal person would.

 

I can't imagine a teenager being so ill informed, rash with his life, ignorant of the dangers to consider such a bloody stupid task. He must be intelligent enough to think "I need to wrap this in something water proof" (ish) but a total idiot for leaving it plugged in. At the moment he woke up surely he must have thought "not one of my better ideas".

Let's hope he listens a bit more to his physics teachers in future.

The best way to keep your xbox cool is to move to iceland or somewhere thats naturally cold open doors/windows and that will solve your problem
