    Thats what I was talking about, and basically why I'm undecided about getting into the industry.

    I wouldnt mind making 60k a year or even less, as long as I get to work in normal rates...

    More like the ones who know their s*** well enough and have been around for about 10+ years make 110k.

    Any demanding job is going to require some form of overtime. OT on games is not half bad now a days. You tend to get fed well and get the time back at the end of the project.

    For me OT is not half bad because I end up going home and programming anyways. Shocking enough, I've done barely any overtime at my new job (been here for a year) compared to the last place I worked (Studios who do shit GBA/DS games will force far more overtime then just a normal game at a bigger studio).
