Anything post 4 don't bother with. The realism makes it utter shit. San Andreas is well worth how cheap it is. Especially on PC because the mods are so vast A post I made elsewhere about GTA IV's realism I want to see the realism gone bailing from you car could kill you, going through the wind screen could. Its more realistic, but about an eigth as fun. I beat GTA IV once because I didn't find it fun. Compare that with a 3 times completed SA (and an extra 1 time 100%'d). A Bully I completed god knows how many times without 100% and a few times 100%'d Just get rid of the realism. I hated GTA IV because of it. It wasn't fun at all because in car chases the odds were against you. I enjoy the more realistic physics. I enjoy going through wind shields. I just hated the realism because it sucked all of the fun out of the game (something I play GTA for is a release of anger and I found the game pissed me off). I felt the realism was out of place in a GTA game. Now LA Noire's realism? Loved it because it felt natural in LA noire. I didn't see LA Noire as GTA. I saw it as its own fun game completely seperate from GTA (Some people compare it to GTA but I find its completely different.)
I've only played a handful of new games recently. I used to rent games all the time, but all the video rental places are out of business now, so if I want to rent a game I have to sign up for Gamefly. It doesn't seem like it's worth it to me, considering that there's so little I'm interested in these days.
There are like only 3 games in the pipeline I'm interested in Arkham City, Otomedius and Catherine which I'm really in no huge rush to get Now that I have a working Dreamcast again I want to get to work on a god like Dreamcast collection.
