Ok good news bad news. The good news is I got my screw bit and was able to open the Virtua Hamster proto. The bad news is that it appears the EPROM is soldered in (it's one giant EPROM btw). This means I have no way to dump it. :(

Wouldn't it be possible to desolder it from the board?

Not with my soldering skills, I wouldn't trust it. I'm visiting a friend next month who might be able to help me though.

I was looking around for a complete list of Mega CD games and found this list of games, including unreleased games.

Seems that both Indiana Jones and Myst were at final playable stages. Anyone have any info? I'd love for Indy to get released.

I think the main problem with dumping games is that most people are assholes about it. They bother the people with the betas/prototypes, asking when it will be released, and acting as if they "owe it to the scene." That compounded with the incredible fuckheads on eBay shopping the items for $10 on a CD-R is simply killer.

i really hope that next title 'll be an N64 game ...

i'll let you know that a rom of an unreleased N64 'll be "available" in few weeks. It's not coming from my private collection i can say but the owner told me to diffuse the information.

i post a screenshot of the game. It's blurry and it is done on purpose. You can try guess the name of the game.

I think 32X carts are dumpable by Genesis dumping rigs, aren't they (are any 32X games bigger than 4MB)? You might pick up a Sega CD and construct Mask of Destiny's transfer cable.

I'd offer to dump it, but my SMD can only handle 2MB, and doesn't seem to be able to dump larger carts (I dumped S2 locked onto S&K as a test, and the ROM data repeated after $200000). And since this is a 32X cart, I'd imagine it has a good chance of being larger than 2MB.

  9. Come on. That's a little TOO blurry.

Yea, it's close to impossible for someone to figure it out with that screenshot unless they have seen the exact same one before without the blur.

Wow after reading 12 pages of requests and so on...I am kind of shocked no one mentioned the ill fated PS1 game Thrill Kill. I have been looking for the COMPLETE AO rated version. The AO version has the canible redneck (forget his namwe offhand) with a leg in him mouth spewuing blood everywhere in the opening cutscene. I have the AO reted Beta though it's missing the boss fight and all the char endings :( it's basicly the core game 5 arena's and the blood. I know of people who have the full AO and M rated versions but there conceeded little pricks who dont want to dump it unless you cough up like $200+....which personaly I think is a bit much. They also refuse to verify that the copy works and so on.

Thrill Kill was completed and ready for release developed by Paradox Games and published by Virgin, then EA bought Virgin interactive and was like "Holy hell this game is just to over the top" and selfed a COMPLETE game. Bolth versions as well. They dident even want to release the M rated version cuase that alone was borderline AO cuase of the sear violence. I dont have much in the "Rare" catagory anymore..alot of my collection was stolen a few years ago..which blows. Main reason I am interested in Thrill Kill was Paradox said that if my game company wanted to they would think about letting us "Remake" Thrill Kill since the still hold the rights to it. So I want the game 1: To see how to improve the 4 man fighter 2: Peer nastalgia 3: I wanted the game as soon as I saw the "Tips and Tricks" cover of Violators ripping off Imps arms on the cover :D.
If anyone has ANY INFORMATION on Thrill Kill I would be verry apreciative. Also I have alot of Dreamcast games I can host for peeps when I get braudband back up. Also if anyone is interested in the TK beta I can dump that too. Took me forever to find it. :smt033

Errr...I take it that yu don't know that their are four versions that have been dumped and are on the net already. Yes, one of them is the full and complete uncensored version. And no, I won't tell you where to get it, but it is indeed already available.

ahhh i know what it is now... I was hanging out for this game when i had my n64, can't wait to check it out. I hope it's a near final version as i'd like to play the thing right through.

Perhaps i can give a small clue... it was unreleased on the n64

    ;) ;)
i could do another 38 of those but that would just be cruel... hehe
