Community Dump: Suggestions for next title?

Discussion in 'Rare and Obscure Gaming' started by Benedict_Arnold, Jun 21, 2005.

  1. Another PS1 unrelease: Indiana Jones (the N64 version). It was being made for the PS1. I would like to see the PS1 version big time!

    dumps

I remember reading in Game Fan, on a Sonic Jam preview, that Sonic Team was working on a Saturn game called Project Sonic. So, waht hapened to it, did it become Sonic Adventure?. In the preview, of Sonic Jam, i think they said that the upcoming game looked even better that the 3d level in Sonic Jam. Anyone have that issue?
A couple of oldies for the Genny are Lobo (got a low review by Game Pro), and Indiana Jones Triology (reviewed by Game Pro, too, good port of the SNES game).
How about some 32X love, there is the X Men game, and a driving title named Heavy Machinery, wich was similar to Road Rash for the 3DO, but with military vehicles, i think it was finished but nobody picke it up for release.
For 3do, i would like Blackthorne to be dumped, but dunno how far it got.
For GBA, is Shantae Advance ever going to be released, or what?.
For Jaguar, it seems that Telegames has a bunch of game ready to be released, but refuse to. Anyone got a list of those titles?
And i would like to get:
VIRTUA FIGHTER 3 AND SHENMUE ON SATURN!!!!!, heck Sonic Adventure on Saturn too!!!

This thread makes me hate the damn Japanese work ethic. There are so few Japanese protos leaks compared to English.

I remember a lot of magazines saying that Sonic Adventure was built off of a Saturn game, and it certainly doesn't resemble Sonic X-Treme or Sonic Jam in the slightest, so that would be my guess.

I know for a fact that someone has this, and I could probably get that going with enough community funds.

Same with this one, and Virtual Hamster as well.

I'm almost positive I heard recently that the game got picked up by a publisher, but don't quote me on that.

I think Fabrizo is now on holiday or something. By the way he sent me the Saturn CPK codec for Win XP. I've added it to my FTP if anyone wants it. It works like a treat. All I have to do now is find a way to convert the files to AVI.

If it's the same build I played about three years ago, count me out. It wasn't even a game yet, it was 3D-rendered city streets that were barely drivable, and that's it.

Well, sure, I suppose I would too, but nothing significant. I wouldn't have a problem slapping down $10-20 like I did for Deuce, but I'd have a problem going higher than that.

You know, assuming he could even rip the game, which he can't.

Count me in for Echo Delta ;)

What do you guys think about Faceball (Virtual Boy)? It has already been dumped and maybe we can make out a deal to buy the rom image from the owner?

A Dragon Hopper prototype is rumoured to exist in the hands of a collector... I want that game so badly ~_~

I have maybe 4 Dreamcasts but no coders cable, no real desire to dump it and it's very similar to how TheRedEye described it - "It wasn't even a game yet, it was 3D-rendered city streets that were barely drivable, and that's it." though it is only slightly different to the gamespot screemshots because it also has rear-view mirrors -_- Although most Dreamcast can read GD-R with the swap trick according to bellok only 1 in 4 can actually rip them so that in itself poses problems. I'd probably also want to get half of my expenditure back on it too which would be $200 (I paid $400), which isn't really good value for money when you consider this thing is like a demo but bugged a lot and I dumped Deuce which is more playable for half of that. Still, someone could pay $800 and dump it I guess (see: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8200321893&fromMakeTrack=true ) so in some ways I guess it is not a bad price for the dump and mine is a later version, but oh well hehehe ;)

  19. I don't think there was ever a Shantae Advance in the works for the GBA, as the development team moved on from Shantae to Sigma Star Saga. Shantae was released on the Gameboy Color, but if you played the game in your GBA there were significant graphical upgrades that were made possible with the hardware.

Is bellok around still? Maybe he could rip it if you don't mind sending the game to him after the donations are done (and then he return the game to you of course).
Ok, it's just somekind of a demo, but is a unreleased game anyway. I wouldn't mind to get the unreleased 32X Ecco demo just because it's a demo :)
