    ^this although the swap trick is something I'd recommend avoiding if at all possible because it wears out the motor that spins the disc faster than normal use (that's actually how I lost my first Saturn so I'm speaking from experience and at the time I didn't have the ability to buy a new drive since I was under 18 when it happened and couldn't buy online otherwise I would have) a mod chip is the way to go, at least until the optical drive emulator jhl is working on is ready and released.

    Why not just get an Action Replay and flash it with a custom firmware?

    just for curious people, i used mkisofs to build first iso, shntool to get a valid wave file from aiff with a cue file and finally clonecd to get a simple bin/cue
