Got about 16 discs for a Sega Saturn Cybersled build. I use a MAC and somehow i cant get a saturn emulator work and no idea how to make a ISO file. The disc containt all kinds of stuff AVI's pictures logo's and all kind of files i never heard about

Why do i think this is a Sega Saturn Cybersled, see picture please. Documents, a some kind of rom (?) i na hex editor and a logo that is different i think ? no idea

    So questions:

    1. How to make a working Saturn ROM on a MAC need to make a ISO right ? Maybe for a lot of people this is very easy for this is a hard freaking job. No idea at all, tryed so much stuff.
    2. How to get a fully working Sega Saturn Emulator. Could any one maybe send me one thats basicly plug and play ? (Again tryed a lot all bitching and giving me a hard time to even get started, no clue why)

I doubt that's a Saturn format CD - it's been a long time, but I think that .CPE file is the one used to control the operation of the Cross Products Mirage CD emulator - so it's highly probable that the files on the CD are the ones backed up from the emulator hard drive - the first thing to do is print out the .CPE file (It's just text) and make sure that you have all the assets referred to in it.

One great emulator for OS X (macOS now) is OpenEmu - http://openemu.org/ You will have to get BIOS of course, but it works very well!

In order to make an ISO on a Mac, you can use Disk Utility. You want to create an "image" of the disk. You can do this by highlighting the disc on the left side and then clicking File -> New Disk Image. Once complete, the image will have a ".img" extension, but you can just rename it to ".iso" and it will work the same. This will, however, go out the door per TriMesh's comment.

Just thought I would chime in. Hope this helps!

I can confirm that Cyber Sled was in production for the Saturn because I've seen it running! It may have also been shown at the 1994 or 1995 CES show.

According to my notes, CyberSled was to have been the first of several games Namco ported to the Saturn, but ended up being the only one they ever fully completed (Ridge Racer was on the way to becoming its follow-up) because Sony made them an offer to become what Sega would later call a "1.5 party" developer in the Dreamcast era. I'd genuinely given up hope of this one ever seeing the light of day - never mind several builds surfacing! I can't wait to see if it's possible to compare this with the PlayStation version...

    What
What type of errors are you getting? Maybe the discs need region coding.

Very interesting indeed, I would love to see CyberSled running!

Could it be that the game is expecting a specific cartridge (RAM expansion for example) to be installed, and therefore the emulator should be configured accordingly?

I doubt it as this game was previewed before Daytona was even shown in a 50% state. I remember the Saturn preview of Cyber Sled well. It did look quite solid.

I loved Cyber Sled in the Arcades. While the PS1 version is inferior, the ships might as well be pre-rendered with fewer frames than the original, I own it too. I don't think MAME worked right either the last time I tried it. I doubt Namco would have bothered to improve a Saturn port, but I really will love to see this one running. I'd really love to play it with my Twin Sticks!

Below is a proof that Cybersled was indeed being developed for Sega Saturn. This is an internal document from Namco. I found it in the Climax archives I bought from Steven78.

Quality is pretty bad, this is a scanned copy of a fax, good old 90's :)

My sega saturn senses are tingling.
They wrote it as if there was a build of the game lurking.
And now it is found. :)
