    So in theory IF i wanted to run XP as a dual boot on this bad bad what would I would need to do besides find my XP disc?

    Partition your HDD, and the most horrible part (for some) find XP compatible drivers for your hardware.

    But if you want to use a virtual machine, use Virtualbox or VMware which doesn't require virtualization hardware.

    i can call over wifi/edge/3g on my g1, so if i don't have service i can still call/receive calls and txt from my house or an open wifi, and i got 2 numbers on my phone.
