Dead Rising 1 Beta release Whatever happened to it???

Like you said a developer at Capcom gave you feedback if anyone cared it would be executives the other employees probably don't care if they were published (as long as it doesn't get them in trouble) more than likely, but and sharing videos and pictures is different than the files also I figure that there's more of a concern about Microsoft being angered than Capcom if he were worried about Capcom also you can tell its More of Microsoft that he's concerned about since the problem is the 360 not being dead yet

Normally I'd agree with you Borman but not in this case, having to wait for the 360 to die before the beta's are allowed to be released as a part of the trade deal, I may be over-thinking this but wouldn't a major part of the deal like that be a pretty important thing to just forget about? Not only that but wouldn't you want to clarify something like that ASAP so people won't keep hounding you about it?

Now if ASSEMbler had went back and edited his original posts or made a new post to clarify the fact that he had to wait for the 360 to die before he could release them early on, that'd be one thing, but the fact that he said one thing and waited so long before essentially pulling a 180 gives some users a legitimate reason to start getting suspicious about this just my 0.02.

 

I dont know the facts, so who knows. But I know personally, Ive said one thing and contradicted myself plenty of times, especially when sick. Im forgetful, to the point where I dont always trust my own notes hah, so it could have taken a friendly PM from the trade person, or some other detail. Im sure it'll get out at some point though.

Okay guys this is absolutely ridiculous it doesn't matter what he said... They are his builds and he has made it clear the terms of how they need to be released. I think its time to stop making such a big deal about something so minuscule. #drunkrant

These things are sometimes more complicated then just buying and selling. Just have faith that it'll get done eventually, even if I have to personally drive down and see get them myself. I have things Id love to release, but for reasons they cannot be right now. In all likelihood, the disks aren't unique, and if you dont feel like waiting for him, continue to reach out. You've shown that you are dedicated to the game, so whether it happens tomorrow or a decade from now, someone will get to you.

 

It is minuscule... Honestly don't see why you can't be happy knowing someone has them and have no patients whatsoever to wait for them to be released.

I just know how it goes. I've done the waiting for years game before. It sucks. But it works out in the end. Considering NES games are still finding their way out, I wouldnt worry too much about dead rising.
