well, it took 15 plus years for people to get over the fear of capcoms RAGE if resident evil 1.5 got leaked.... then it leaked and capcom did nothing so my fear is that the DR builds are the same as RE 1.5

 

I have capcom devs trying to source older TGS demo files to send to me.

 

Developers aren't the issue. Lawyers are. Two entirely different groups with entirely different purposes, with, sometimes, little communication between the two. It's always easier for someone else to say "Just release it," because nothing bad really could happen to them. I know Assembler has seen his fair share of lawyers for this place over the years, and Ive seen a few, so I would rather him be safe than sorry.
