Unfortunately like for the riqa rom i am not allowed to release it for now. On the good side of thing i ve got cleared to release a third game that i ll show to the workd soon...
It appears to be, the gun shot is from Die Hard Trilogy 1, "That's gotta hurt" is from 1 and 2, and "Yippie Ki Yay" is from 2.
Maybe temporary sound ?! I believe the sound were ripped from the movies not the games... but i m not a sound guy i may. E wrong
Looks like an okay game, but I just don't get any Die Hard vibe from it. Those hitboxes/bullet time scenes tho... "Oh noes, he shoot bullet way past my elbow! Now I ded, AAaarrrh!"
Actually, you can see the guy die before he got hit... then stand up to not get hit in the elvow and die again ... amazing fail i got here
Do you have only the rom, or the source code? And I doubt leaking an unreleased game of a defunct company for a defunct console platform will give any legal issues. It would be awesome if you had the game`s source code and release it. Cheers.
It can give legal issues, Die Hard is an active property. And it can also cause employment issues for the poster. Respect that he shared at all.
I could probably get the source code yes... I know the source code for riqa is available. I do not fear legal issues on those... but I asked and the team do not want the rom to be release for now... (that doesnt mean it no for ever) I got multiple copy of the roms, and other people have them too... so it wont be lost...and it will probably end up being released some time...
Great to see this I had no idea it was in the works. Thanks for sharing. It actually looks better than I expected. Cheers
Thank you again for sharing. This one sure flew under my radar. Perhaps, now that you brought this forth, with video and all, something comes to mind, as if I might have seen something in the magazines of the time, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Anyway, mind if I ask you some questions? How advanced was the development of the game before work on the N64 version stopped? Is this build the latest form of the N64 version, or was there significative progress after? How much does this represent the vision for the final product? Did the final GC game achieve that vision? Was the game moved over straight from the N64 to the GC or was it first cancelled and later rescued as a GC game?
It s one of the lastest version before the project got canned. But i cannot confirm its the absolute last one made Devellopement on Die hard vendetta started Just after diehard 64 was canned
DH64 was never cancelled, back in 2000 Fox said that the game was over even without an official announcement, but in a 2002 interview with one of developers, he said that because of 64 market being diminished at that year (DC and PS2) Nintendo offered them the chance to be a GC developer at the same year, and got the dev kits by fall 2000-beginning of 2001, that's why Vendetta ended being a temporary exclusive, and a permanent one in US.
