At least the price isn't a total rip. Some sellers I've seen are trying to hawk it for upwards of $140, not including shipping!

EDIT: If you do get one, I'd be intrested to see how Neo Geo Emulation works. Many devices I've seen do not let you remap controls, or even support emulation fully.

I never considered it but regarding Neo Geo emulation, don't all these clone devices need specially formatted images to run? I seem to recall the JDX requiring a special image that has the BIOS appended to it as well.

Was there anything in the way of a converter that users could use to make their own images?

Yea ur thinking the same thing im thinking, i want a damn good Snes Emu. The psp runs at 333mhz and it plays most games at full speed with some having to run with frame skipping. if this supposibly has 500mhz it should run it but I wanna see it in action first.

In his video he plays Rtype3 which is snes, and it plays perfectly but im wanting something alittle more intensive.

Well, I''ve seen some videos of the snes emulation and it sounds like it depends greatly on the game. Some, for instance, have audio problems where it plays back too fast or too slow, etc.

Neat. It would be nice to get reports back from *proper* users of the device and not regular "joe-anyone" who doesn't really know how a real SNES/NEO/etc performs.

translated version of Tales of Phantasia

are a perfect all around test

    Neo Geo:

Metal Slug... (Whatever pushes the most lag/sprites)
    Any recent KOF...
    Samurai Shodown V
    SvC perhaps?

Well that sucks. Apparently some Chinese forums mention that Neo Geo emulation is somewhat sluggish. In addition, some games (Perhaps larger images) don't run with sound? I'm hoping this is not the case, but I have no idea.

What do you expect, it's Chinese. No offence to any Chinese readers but pretty much anything from China is a half arsed piece of crap. They either rip off some existing item or produce some cheap thing that will play illegal roms and they can't even do that right. After all a PC Neo Geo EMS will run fine on 400mhz. Even the Dreamcast can run Neo Geo CD Emulation fine.
