Oh man, this brings back memories of those summers on the French countryside playing DC2 over and over again - the French version, which greatly increased the challenge! Rose-tinted glasses for sure, but I love this game. Never tried DC1 or DC3, but I fire up DC2 (the same French version) every now and then

And I love RE4 too. RE5, less so (even though it's enjoyable).

I've only ever played the Japanese version of Dino Crisis 2, lol. The voices were English, but all text was Japanese.

Admittedly, it was a pirated copy...

Back then I was addicted with Dino Crisis 2 which I prefered over Resident Evil but I never completed it. I have to play it again someday. Too shame for the DC3 in space (btw, it was planned for PS2 originally but it came out only in XBox). I also enjoyed Dino Stalker in PS2 which is a spin-off light-gun shooter a la Resident Evil Survivor but much better.

I would like to see a resurrection of this francise.

LOL @ everyone saying Resident Evil 4 is utter garbage. Can I get tickets to that fantasy world?

As for Dino Crisis, loved the first one for what it was and I love the sequel for what it is. Comparing the two is fine but that is like comparing Diet Coke and regular Coke. Sure everyone is going to prefer one to the other but as soon as you start to treat them as their own beverage you realize they're both tasty in their own way. Unless you really can't stand the taste of coke or aspartame.

Except Pepsi Blue. In no way can that abomination's existence be justified.
