Do you care if a console exclusive goes to PC?

So delusional XBOX fanboys, XBOTs are throwing you tube temper tantrums. Why? Becuase HOW DARE Microsoft allow several XBOX one console exclusives to go to PC. Quantum Break, Rise of the Tomb Raider (which will be on PS4 later this year) and KI Season 3 plus A few others I can't remember off the top of my head. I don't get it. YOU THE XBOX OWNER ARE STILL GETTING THE GAME but heaven forbid PC gamers, who are totally different types of gamers also get to play these games too. XBOX exclusives from what I understand aren't selling amazing numbers either. So you have these fanboys decreeing the games they have over PS4 and they aren't buying them. Here's an example of the You Tube temper tantrums going on right now.



Then you have people tweeting Phil Spencer to tell him WELL IT'S GOING TO PC I'M NOT BUYING THE GAME WAH WAH BABY WANT BABA. To his credit he does respond to these idiots.

So I'm going to ask you guys, do you even care if a game is exclusive to one console but is also on PC? I obviously don't. Lets say I had an XBOX One, which right now I don't but down the line I might. Quantum Break interests me. It reminds me of those unique Original XBOX games when Microsoft was throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks. If PC Gamers get to enjoy it on their expensive rigs in crazy resolutions good on them. I'd still buy it on XBONE because PC isn't my thing. Funny you don't see people upset over Street Fighter V going to PC. These cry babies who ARE GROWN ASS MEN. Crying over an XBOX game going to PC is beyond pathetic. Plus it makes XBOX fans that aren't batshit crazy cry babies look bad as well.

SO that's my soapbox, I would be very surprised if anybody disagrees with me here.

WB still published the games, but no, NetherRealms and Rocksteady fobbed the PC ports off to some other development studios. Mainly because they were making pretty good PS4/XB1 games.

 

Either way farming out those ports to such a small team was a dick move.

That's something else these fanboys seem to forget in a lot of these ports PC games are treated as a second thought. Regardless of what I think about the "PC Master race console peasant" types. People who game on PC deserve better.

 

Meh, who cares. The videos like the one in the OP are good reminders of why I hate most of the people making videos of games on Youtube.

Besides, wasn't Quantum Break always supposed to come to PC too? At least that's what I remember reading a while ago.

 

No, i think it's good that PC gamers deserve a piece of the pie as well. You don't see Koreans and Vitetnamese not caring about console games or the whole console war thingy because they know for a fact that PC games have more support over there and could careless about them honestly.

But on-topic i hear that many people kinda perfer Metal Gear Solid 1 on PSX than PC which i find sorta odd but it's to be expected since console gaming is all they care about except when it comes to emulators that's when console gamers game on PC and try to act like they're pro console only which honestly fucking pisses me off and basically lying to others.

 

Let's add ReCore to that list. I'd add Cuphead, but that was always promised a PC release alongside the XBONE release. I'm happy for it. Glad I got a PS4 instead of an XBONE. Rumor has it even Master Chief Collection is coming to Windows.

Quantum Break's Recommended PC specs are pretty decently high. Like, higher than they have any business being haha.

 

For some reason I'm really amused by XBOX fanboy videos. PS Fanboy videos not so much mostly because they're boring and aren't on the same level of delusion as XBOX fanboys. The Best was a rash of videos saying the XBONE is the first 4K console because of World of Tanks using 4k Textures but displaying them in 1080p, By that logic the PS3 is the first 4k Console since it did the exact same thing, 4k textures downscaled to 1080p or is it 720p? with Okami HD.

Yeah always weird when a console game goes to PC and the specs to run them on PC, are higher than the actual consoles they're ported from, assuming it's a good port.

Here's the thing with me and XBOX One, I want one. But even more so I want reasons to want one and I haven't had many. Quantum Break is one game that has my eye it's one of the better looking XBONE games. I buy an XBONE, I'm buying Quantum Break for it not PC.

 

Actually now that I think about it, the Vita is now practically worthless because almost all the good exclusives have been ported, and I doubt many people would rather play them on a tiny handheld screen. Only thing I can think of to still buy one for is Ys: Memories of Celceta, and it seems like a cheap PS TV is the way to go if you want to play that, anyway.

 

Remote play, you're playing Bloodbourne suddenly the magical deuce fairy hits you and you're gonna be in there for a while. That's where the Vita comes in.

 

Eh, a lot of games just don't work that well on the Vita's analog sticks, and that's assuming the developers didn't do something stupid like map things to the back touch screen. Crossplay is actually a much nicer feature even if it doesn't look as cool in promos.

 

I'm trying to get my PS4 this weekend and this bundle caught my eye since they're sold out of Nathan Drake collection bundles (and I DO NOT want Call of duty.)

There is, There isn't one in the the states. Japan and Europe only. I really only need the console I have Bloodborne, Driveclub and DOA5LR already and SFV preordered.

 

I'm a very happy Xbox One user and I have been looking forward to
Quantum Break, since it was announced. I couldn't care less that it was also getting a PC release. These people bitching are just morons. Plain and simple. If it was coming to the PS4 at the same time I could understand a little hurt due to that being the rival system but Windows? It's like the Xbox One's brother. It's the same saying it was coming out on the 360. Yep, the world is full of fucking idiots.

 

I think the chances are slim for a PS4 release. Which is a good thing, competition is good. The other thing these idiots forgot? XBONE and PC Crossplay. You can stream PC games to XBONE and vice versa. That's a pretty awesome feature. (I think PS4 is getting some kind of PC streaming too)

The XBONE's stable of unique and interesting exclusives is starting to remind me of the Original XBOX and that is definitely a good thing, they should take risks like they did in the XBOX classic days. That's what turned me off the 360 mid way through the life cycle, it lost it's identity.
