No :/ no one. And after many failed attemps of mine to make my mom play Mario Kart on the N64 i gave up. UTTER FAILUUUUUURE (dot)
My dad used to play games in the PSX days, he was really into Resident Evil and Tomb Raider, but he hasn't played much (well, any) since then.
My parents generally despise games except when my mom plays Bejeweled. My dad played Bob Buchmann from WBAB in a Pac-Man competition and got his ass handed to him. That's my theory as to why he hates games.
My dad was actually quite the gamer back in the day. He was into everything from Galaga to Robotron to pinball. He also owned an Apple IIe along with many games for it. I can remember watching him play things like Ultima or Space Quest for hours. He still plays a few modern games occasionally on his current PC. My mom enjoys a few of the older arcade games she use to play like Dig Dug and Mr. Do. I've gotten her into playing Tetris a few times.
My Mom...she was always a big fan of Tetris...and has recently expressed some interest in the DS. My Dad...varies. Most of my Atari 2600 games are inherited from him. Then after there, he peters out for a generation or so. He would occasionally buy us NES games...but I don't remember if he played them. Maybe we just didn't buy the sort of games he was interested in. Later on, I remember he enjoyed playing NFL Football 94 starring Joe Montana on Sega Genesis...don't remember him playing much else. Then...uh...lapse. He's a pretty busy guy, so he devotes his spare time to his hobbies now... ...and his hobby is collecting Coin Operated Things. Pinballs and Jukeboxes mostly. He has been known to pick up the occasional video game...but only if it's a steal or if I tell it's a great deal. He'll play them occasionally too... I think the reason he doesn't buy them that much is that he's real good with pinball repair and not great with video repair.
My recent experience of playing games with my friend parents. We played different sports games on Wii and they are quiet good at them. Would not be anything special if they both were not over 60!
Well, my mom started playing games (I haven´t seen her in the later years playing, but then again that is because I haven´t seen her that much) back when she, my sister and I were members of a local computer club where they had Amiga computers and my mother loved playing Pnball dreams or fantasies. But my father prefers reading books, and watching good films, and film series such as Shogun. And well that is fine by me
I forgot to mention, me and my dad would play the liveing hell out of grantourismo on the psx when I was about 6 years old. We still play a quick race every weekend.
Back in the day my dad was an Avid gamer, A few months back he gave Outrun 2 a go and.....he has it no more. My mom sings Rockband every now and then.
My dad would play Goldeneye on N64, and SOMEHOW played red alert 2 with 8 bots all on the hardest setting. I couldn't even do that, but he would win most of the time. Sometimes he would play Tiberian sun, but i have no idea how he kept ending up with 1 computer unit left on the map, but taking hours and hours to find it and win the game.. he did that so often? Mum never touched computer games, and had a go on with a wii when we had it.
my father used to play a lot, mainly action games on NES/FC... my mom is fond of only some mind games.
