I'm abnormally tired all the time, constantly depressed, and have permanent back pain.

Don't take this the wrong way, but both of those (depression, back pain) can be put down to not getting enough exercise. Sounds silly, but I found getting out on a bike or whatever, especially with friends can help with both of those problems.

I'm going to give a few more details about what I posted on the first page, so I need dialysis 3 times a week, it's tiring and and sometimes painful, that's when it goes well.

It can go very bad, blood pressure dropping, puking, allergic reactions to the filter, the vein can break leading to a large bruise, the blood flow can be not enough, or too much, wich needs fixing in both cases, the survival of the patient being at stake.
Also, cramps, really painful cramps, usually when too much water is pumped out of you...

There's a diet I have to follow as well, not too much meat, not too much vegetables and fruits, the food rich in potassium is prohibited, same for the phosphorus.
The water and liquid quantities are restricted as well.

The hardware, hmm, I mean the nurses, are nice though, wich is always a good thing :)

People who are depressed often don't have friends around them & the condition makes it way harder to make friends. Not getting quality sleep can cause those symptoms too.

My grandma has to do dialysis 3 times a week too,but she doesnt seem to follow a diet due to her not caring.( eats bananas , mcdonalds and many other things she shouldnt have.) If you feel like that following a forced diet, makes me wonder how she feels.

My leg has this weird heavy feeling that I've noticed since i was about 7 years old. I'm now 19, and I've went to every kind of specialist and had every kind of test done with results coming back just fine. I have no prescription drugs or anything, and sometimes it gets so bad to the point where I can barely sleep at night. I don't think anything helps to relax the pain, as sometimes i just have to find stuff that have the side-effect of drowsiness so i can just knock out.

You have to try to shut off your feelings while you go out and do something that will give your life meaning. It's not easy though. It's very dangerous when you need validation from others.

Oh wait! I did have chronic pain from travelling on a trains for a four hour round trip each day.
    Guess what it was?

MY WALLET in my back pocket. It's a slim wallet too!
It was causing the most excruciating nerve pain shooting from my ankle to my knee.
I can't believe that it was as simple as that. Took me years of pain... :livid:

I like to think we are all friends on here! :encouragement:
Except you, yes you know who you are. You will suffer. Many wallets in your back pockets... :wink-new:

Well, I'm onh Mirtazapine now which is certainly helping me sleep (and this is coming from someone who used to bulk buy valium online...), much better than the runny shits and headaches I used to get from Citalopram.

The doctor said it wasn't, but i was given these pills that do something with dopamine levels i believe, but I was literally up for days so that didn't really help.

Chronic migraines when I was a kid, but I thankfully outgrew them.

Though lately, my stomach has been handling food HORRIBLY. And by that I mean the passing of food, if you get me. I'm planning on seeing a doctor soon, I think I might have Crohn's Disease.

I suffer periodically from Cotugno's syndrome on the left side.
And almost once every two weeks I suffer from Arnold's greater occipital nerve neuralgia.

Both coming from some accidents in my childhood: a car accident when I was a kid for the occipital neuralgia and many lumbagos for the sciatic nerve that lend to a mis-positionned vertebrae.

Regular and soft sport is compulsory to avoid needing morphine, but it's really boring... last week, spent half my saturday sitting in the toilets, lights turned off and throwing up because of the headaches that were too violent...

Scratch what I said about Mirtazapine, they are giving me the most horrific night terrors I've ever experienced in my life. I'm stuck now, do I keep on taking them and remind myself each morning that it was just a dream, or stay up all night not being able to sleep......

Either that or you might have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome).

I'm not entirely sure if IBS is based on heredity but I've had IBS since I was little and I get it really bad every so often. If you go from a constipated state to perhaps a state where you need to go to the bathroom to pass your food immediately (diarrhea) after eating, I don't think it would be so much Crohn's Disease than it would be IBS. I've found that if I eat certain foods in my diet, I get severe abdomen pain where it feels like I need to throw up and go to the bathroom which is never fun. My mother has it extremely bad because almost anything she eats aside from maybe cereal, she is in the bathroom about 5 minutes later feeling the same way. Something to note that neither me or her are heavy people, we are underweight for our height classes. When I was younger, I was borderline heavy (almost 200 pounds to be exact, I was around 180 pounds) but as I grew older and my IBS started to kick in more, it has contributed to my weight now (145 pounds which is a bit underweight for someone who is 5 foot 10 inches). I've found that stress contributes a lot to my symptoms and if I get upset or angry, I start to get stomach pains from my IBS. The best thing I can tell you if you have IBS is to find things that help you maintain a relaxed state of mind. There is research going on that some of the symptoms are due to the fact that there is instability between the brain to the intestinal tract. I've found that going for a walk or going for a jog helps me relax and dulls the intensity of my symptoms when I get them. Another thing I would do is change up your diet and try to cut things like caffeine out of your daily life. I'm not saying that you have a bad diet since I don't know you but I've found that eating fiber or perhaps eating things that are more healthy for you helps me with my symptoms because my body is getting more nutrients out of what I eat whether it's a salad or whatever it may be. I'm also not saying that you need to completely cut caffeine and colas out of your daily life, but these things are stimulants and will irriate your symptoms if you have IBS. It's okay to have one or two every once and awhile since I do drink soda/energy drinks and coffee but if you go through a few in a day, you want to diminish that habit and drink less of those things and replace them with something like water.

I recommend reading that for more information so I don't drone on more than I already have.
