Is geek now the new HOT? Do the chicks dig your inner-geek? Or do they still go for the beef-cake types?

What do you think? Are the times a changing? Will the 'geek' inherit the earth?..

being a greek certainly makes you more attractive to the ladies.

I have found the combination of Beefgeek to work best. Good looks are always a good starting point for any human interaction.

    It depends where you live.

In my experience... all women are the same regardless of what they are into, such as 'geek', 'preppy', etc....

Geeks are fucking sex bombs, of course - what the hell were you thinking? "Otaku" means "female's favorite" in Japanese and I've heard that otaku people generally fuck seven women a week, sometimes eight.

Nothing has changed, or likely will. Most girls have an inner-nerd and desire intellectual stimulation, but just because you're a geek (connotes an unhealthy obsession with something) doesn't mean you can deliver that, especially if you don't fit their nerddom profile (typically taste in art). Try your hardest to be well-rounded, because girls are (I think it stems from forced maturity), and expect the same of you.

My impression is though that there are plenty of girls who pretend to like art, culture and all that stuff which is considered "intellectual". But when it comes to the point that you ask her something art-related, 80% can't contribute much to the discussion. And this is not because I know so much about art (I certainly don't), it's because most of them know shit about what they pretend to like just b/c they have heard of it and think it sounds cool to write in their Facebook profile.

Girls in my age that is. It's gonna improve, I'm totally sure about that.

if you want to talk about something seriously or in depth, call your mates. Let the woman be, she'll like you more if you ignore her anyway. Women are satisfied by good results, not analytical processes of things they find no lasting interest in.

I have the tendency to explain things fully to everyone, especially technical things.

    I'm single.

And only a couple females have seen my room. I keep my habits to myself generally.

    I dunno?

I think it's a lot to do with how you feel yourself, about being geeky. If you're cool with it, and accept yourself; then good. If you feel at all ashamed, because you don't live up to societies expectations of what's cool, then you're placing too much emphasis on what other people think, and forgetting to love and value yourself and your own uniqueness.

Don't listen to me though, my last girlfriend popped when I stuck a pin in her!..

Its all a matter of who you hang out with. Its no set preference among 'woman kind', but if you find that your friend and her friends dont want to date you, then you are surfing the wrong wave.

Geeks are hot. Attractive people are attractive people and I think that when someone's really into games, programming, computers, etc. it makes them even more attractive. Maybe that's just cuz I'm geeky :)

Geeks don't get the girls until after college. But after that, if you're a genuine geek in the workplace, you're going to probably get a good job and thus money. That is where the attraction ultimately lies.

    But before then, no way.

Surprised that no one has touched on emo geeks. They probably get the girls. Personally I'm pretty normal I think and my girlfriend is very normal.
