Cannon Spike is one of my favorite shmups, really great seeing it in widescreen!

 

Some one please can make a widescreen code to Speed Devils.
I really appreciate.
This is a amazing game and it really need a widescreen aspect.

 

This code works fine with the NTSC version too.
I tested the first three stages and didn't see any clipping .

BTW this is my first render fix, since originally if you just change the fov the game clips like mad.

Could the game Rez be patched next?

Hey, I just found out about the widescreen patches a couple weeks ago and it got me excited for Dreamcast again. I tried some codes on my DC with gameshark and it's great. It even makes games like Zombie Revenge playable.

I got demul setup and I tried poking around a few games with Cheat Engine. I haven't had much success so far. I did manage to find a couple addresses for Volgarr though. Using a simple widescreen code breaks the edges of the display. I just started so it's way beyond comprehension for me.

Here are the addresses (in demul) if one of the pros wants to take a crack at it.

Volgarr:

@Esppiral, awesome! Could you perhaps also look into Rush Rush Rally Racing? Definitely my all time favorite Dreamcast indie game, would be great to be able to play that one in widescreen!

How long does it usually take you to find codes? Your double code, one for menu, one for gameplay? Or a field of view adjustment?

Now I hope more Indie titles get love for widescreen hacks. Volgar is one of my favorite games of recent years, so this is a great feeling seeing it hacked.

Now if only the game would allow saving from a controller in port 2, since I play it with a special controller which has no VMU port, that would be great.

Can someone post the debug version of demul that folks use for this? The version referenced on page 3 or 4 gets identified as a virus by Windows Defender.
